Eh i think it depends on a lot of factors when come to choosing bike shop to service or do whatever thing to ur bike! There are some pple the supporter of i-motoring, HKL, bikeworkz, planet motor and myself K&T. Each of us will say how good the bike shop we went to, price how cheap how good or whatever but in the end pls ask urself if it the money which u mind? or the bike which u mind more?

 

Personally i would advise everyone to stick to a bike shop only cos if u keep run here and there, surely more things will happen and harder to solve ur bike problem or improve ur bike's condition. By sticking to one bike shop, the mechanics there will be clearer with ur bike's condition and knows everything about ur bike therefore he will be able to help u easier. For EXAMPLE, if the first time u went to this bike shop and they help u to fix up ur fairings in a special way due to some problem with ur fairings, then the next time u went to another shop, they sure got problem with removing and asking why is it like this then say the previous person who did this sure BLA BLA BLA.....

 

For some things, maybe you can find the cheaper one but some important parts or servicing, its better not to save the money!!! It’s all speaking from experience ok? haha Ever since I got the bike, I only went to k&t before......... but but but there is one time when I actually followed my friends along to another shop to SERVICE(change e.o., plugs, oil filter) ONLY but in the end a lot of unhappy things happened. By just saving a merely $10+, I actually in the end made a lost of nearly $200.

 

This is just like, NOBODY else know you better than ur parents who have raised you up for years! So choose wisely ur bike shop to do ur bike and stick to it.

anyway i think k&t more ex is mainly because the shop is small, they doesnt keep stocks also. For example for tires, HKL, Unique and some other shops who buy lots of tires at one go sure will get a cheaper price than shop like k&t who only gets a little amount. Anyway just to share whats my view about k&t k? Everytime i went there, surely there will be quite a few rvf, i believe that clifford sure fix rvf more than anyone else and other bikes! If anyone wanna go there to do ur bike, it advisable to go early in the morning... why? it because if u go late, u sure got to wait very long as the shop's business is really very good. It is also partially cos they dun rush to do ur bike! There are some mechanic who fix ur bike just for the sake of doing.

 

Once again i am not promoting k&t k? just sharing my point of view since i always frequent there. Anybody else also can share ur view on the bikeshop u frequent so everyone here got more choices and clearer view of the various bike shop!

i tell u i ride very slow.. normal 80km-90km/h.. expressway maybe faster but never exceed 120... no problem... i just change tyres and EO and oil filter... planning to do grounding soon.. den change HEL brake hose..

 

ps: anyone receive enlistment letter alr?? going in 15 sept BMTC 1. sian...

seriously. by putting how mani km u can go on a full tank. u need to indicate how mani litres u pump too. some of you might pump 11 litres n can go up to 280km. while some might pump 13 litres and can go up 280km.

 

U all should add in ltr/km. that's the best to compare.
