using gpr70sp since i got my bike. did 22,000 km before changing.. it was almost botak..

now i got a fresh set of 70s! whee!

yes, gpr70 wear out very fast...it's grip on dry days is good...but very poor grip on wetdays...

i dont really agree that you have poor grip on wetdays. i felt its fine on wet days.. even when cornering at speed

010 not really race tyres. its more for like super 4. on straight road, the contact area with the ground quite wide.

but after riding for 5 mins, u can really feel the stickiness on the tyres compared to 090. but bt090 quite sharp. i am not really able to feel the heat on the tyres compared to 010.

you can confidently corner on the 010 and the 090.

my friends using dunlop, but the centre part of the back tyres burn finish quite fast

It's happening because you're not riding enough side-ways my friend. Hee~ :cheeky:

The next time anyone happens to head to 2nd Link for blast with Metzeler Sportec M1and other "W" rated tyres (The speed and heat rating are stamped on all tyre). The front should be (55W) and rear 150 (66W)/160(69W). I could be wrong so please have a look yourself. When you reach the petrol station after the blast try taking a good look at the tyres when after the blast. Do Inspect and Note the tyre wear, stickness and temperature.

You will be surprised to discover some tyres almost do not display any signs of obvious wear!

I trust that most of you guys know the standard RVF tyre pressure. (225/225 or 250)

Here lies your answer. And if Tyre mile and longevity is a big issue. Think about how much money are you willing to trade for a peace of mind on the road?

Please understand also that RVF was conceived and born on the RaceTrack. She's not a straight line rocket. It's a short-wheel base (good 'flickerability') and thick mid-range torque makes it an excellent "BEND-KILLER"

I hope that is the reason for riding the RVF for everyone. It's ok if you haven't. 'Cause She's still waiting for you to discover and unlease her true character and potential.

Good luck guyz on your V-force journey..

FS around 11k... trying pm-ing filbert.. he's riding one FS plater

im not sure about the pricing, but it should be around 9-11k as soulmace says. alot depends on condition of e bike also.. sometimes yes bike shops sell abit cheaper.. but usually u'll still have to do up since its a 2nd/3rd hand bike after all.. all depends if the prev owner takes care of it or not..

bought mine 10k (bike price) from albert 8+ months back

I dun think that GPR70's max life is 6mths. It all depends on how hard u ride ur bike and how much milage u cover.During the one year when I rode my RVF, I only changed the tyres once when I took over till I sold it away. The tyres were still in very good condition and probably can go on for a few months more.

All I can say is that GPR70 is a very good tyre for RVF and the price is quite cheap too.But whatever tyre u guys wana use is totally up to u guys. Juz remember to ride safe on the road and save the hard riding to the track.
