even those who have not got their bikes stolen will pay for it indirectly by paying higher premiums.

In the first place...Why ride ur bike over there for holidays? Even 2B bikes kana stolen...let alone class 2....

 

Some people ride bikes for their holiday, they are the leisure riders. They treat them as their wife or girlfriend, that why they bring them for holiday.

 

Other rode bikes to work and transport, their bikes are their work horses.

the VIN is the number on the chassis... For your Honda, the VIN should read something like JH2RC46A98M00033.......(See, I remember my VIN by hard)

 

Hopefully, with the VIN, my buddies can look out for your bike.

Just got ur 2b license on 15/09/08 after 4 attempts? (STILL HAVE THE CHEEK 2 PUBLICISE IN UR SIGGY FOR THE WHOLE WORLD TO SEE)

 

Wat would you know about motorcycle touring?

Not sure if posting this is okay, but the company i'm working in recently brought in a new line of products that we sell to delivery/logistics.

 

Basically it is a tracking device and not an alarm which to me doest work in malaysia. A tracking device shld be able to assist even the laziest cops..i think

I may not know anything about motorcycle touring,but my point it's prevention is better than cure.Not trying to be sarcastic or anything.

 

Last but not least, hope the owner recover his bike.

sometime, its not de issue of touring or wad and end up bike gotten stolen. even jus by riding in to eat at R&R or wad, bike have also gone missing.

 

so, you trying to say, down to de root, prevention, don enter m'sia? :confused:

 

car go in shopping, also got stolen, bike go in makan, also got stolen, den we take bus go in, we kanna stolen? :confused:

 

prevention better den cure?

There are risks we take and riding into Malaysia is one of them. We may take measures but thieves will always improvise to ensure gains. We have to remain vigilant, but that doesn't mean that we should abandon our bikes altogether. After all, what's more fun than blazing down the NS-Highway???

true... I just got my car insurance renewal premium.....a whooooping $1100+.... summore i nvr make any claim b4. this 1 incl 50% NCD plus 5% good driver bonus....

Last year pay bout 700++ altogether, this year jump until 400++? hmmm....time 2 search for a new insurance.....BYE BYE NTUC......:goodluck:

wads more fun den traveling up north and enjoying de breathe taking scenarist of farmers waking up early, cows, sheeps by de road side. not something you see everday in sg's road :sweat:

Don't remind me. Went to sleep over at my kampong in Bentong, Pahang whilst I was still riding my Blackbird a few years back. My front tyres went over a HUGE pile of cow dung. My bike & jeans were splattered with smelly shite. Had to wash the bike again at KL....

 

But the trip around the KL-Karak Highway was worth it.

How would that be possible??? Unless there's some documents inside the bike with the TS's number on it, I doubt the thief would try and contact TS. They risk getting caught in the exchange.

The point is that you do not know anything about motorcycle touring and the passion that some people have for it..it aint got anything to do with prevention.you can lock ur bike with 1001 locks yet if someone wants to steal it they will go all out.so what other preventive methods r u talking bout? stop riding to Malaysia? I am SORRY but please think the next time round before u let ur fingers do the talking..
