yea ive never heard of test rides for new bikes. probably only premium ones like HD. it's a pity as i think test rides should be allowed.

im not rushing for xvs 950 too. was actually waiting for honda fury but tat baby will never ever be released here. oh and the new triumph thunderbird looks pretty as well. pity the price tag.

I agree with Reddevil. For cruisers, it seems now the HD market is easier to get parts & assesories. I cannot get anything for my dragstar 1100 apart from the internet which shipping cost a bomb. Even servicing is not cheap, my mech has to go to HL to buy an oil filter as there is no 3rd party part.

Hi, maybe you ask your mech to check if there is a K&N oil filter for your bike.

its triumph thunderbird. 1600cc of pure adrenalin unlike america/speedmaster which is 700+.

1600cc is way too big for me... imho singapore road just need a 400cc for transport prurpose and 600-1000cc for touring purpose... just my thoughts

yup that's pretty true to a certain extent. explains the popularity of the reliable Super4. but men being men, we want 'bigger' things (pun intended). after a while, the power of 400cc will bore the s*it out of us. we want to pull away from the stop lights and away from the cars, enjoying the free road ahead. to each his own i guess. if not for insurance and tax, i bet we'd all go for the big ones. the bigger the better. :)

Sorry Adriel, was not referring to your remark on maintenance. Was referring to your remark on selling the bike after. When it comes to large capacity cruiser, i find that european marques have more ready buyers. Also speaking from experience.

Anyhow, I just bought a new Triumph Speedmaster after considering the VStar 1300.

sad to see the Thunderbird go down the way of a standard looking cruiser..........

losing all the sports classic look including the peashooters for those ugly inverted diagonal cones is a truly design fault......

sigh........1600cc.....so what?
