As per the above mentioned price... CONFIRM cheaper alot den Singapore but of cuz... be prepared to wait long long due to the long queue there... waited from 3PM-7.30PM for KR full servicing... Try not to go at night as you will be prepared to wait til 5-6am den come back singapore Jammed again,expected to reach home at 9am if going after 12am...

Nope.. the one with MOST lights and MOST bikes outside... Hou Heng is servicing bike...

2nd with another friend *See him FULL Servicing til 5am*

3rd Alone Full Servicing plus de-carbon and etc

4th TML with friend *Buy Ciga,Fuel*

I would like to overhaul my Honda Wave.

My intent is to do up/change EVERY single part of the engine.

Total Overhaul.

 

And I've never been to any JB shop do up my OWN bike,except for following my friends to do up theirs. This is also because this is my first 2B Bike.

 

My question is:

1)When I asked around in 'Aqua Lane', most shops quoted RM400-RM600 to do up the engine.Is this normal? Or is there cheaper anywhere in JB?Any suggestions?

 

2)As this is my very first time to use the services of a Malaysian bike shop, I would appreciate any tips or recommendations.

 

3)Any other tips/suggestions?

since its a overhaul, its not going to be cheap, u wan the bike to run well or u wan the overhaul cheap, u decide urself, but 400-600 is considered cheap already, not counting if there is any parts to change.

its up to u whether to overhaul there or not, but if anything happens, then u must go back to the shop, troublesome.

1) Yup... try not to down the $$$ UNTIL they finish do up your bike... reason: if you down the price first.. they will not do nicely.. and will confirm drag the timing.. btw, is ah gua lane.. not aqua..

 

2) Any tips and recommendation is to ask them if It's possible to do it within a day.. like you come in the morning and willing to go back at night... try to stay there and see them how they do your bike.. maybe go out to eat nearby and come back asap.. if possible.. ask your friend to accompany you.. so that you wun feel lonely or alone.. like wat i did that time..

 

3) Tip? Prepared a min of 1.5-2k of RM in Malaysia to prepared as the price of 600-800rm is only for overhaul service fees, no parts that need to be change is included... So any more questions?

yup... no people will recommend you the bike shop else you MIGHT blame him/her... Can try.. but we wun recommend..
