Me also around there, but think better no cut lah. Cos from my understanding, the suspension will go down lower through usage and time so will be lower eventually. The seat is also very comfy now so dun wanna waste it..

Hello everyone.. wow took me about 3 nights to read finish this whole thread.. haha finally reached the end to intro myself a bit.

me a female rider.. got a bit tired of my honda cub (love hate relationship actually) and was thinking of getting a fino/spark/x1 until someone told me about the b-bone. its definitely sexy but I need honest opinions of whether its too much of looks over works? cause between a fino and bone, i'd choose the bone definitely for killer looks but i hear the fino is much more reliable plus its liquid cooled. i mean i hear yall that CKA provides excellent servicing but it seems theres alot of problems with the new rides even.. (which makes me doubt the engine design) and i don think i can afford going to BB CKA almost every sat for servicing etc..

i don plan to mod engine though im quite disappointed to hear it doesnt come with even a fuel gauge. but i do plan to install some creative storage space and just a lil accessories if i get it. im just a chillax rider =P so most prob will cruise frequently at 80-95 max

im planning to rush down lunchtime during work to CKA one day but hope to hear some updated opinions of their bikes for now (reliability wise), esp those with stock. or if any of u rode a fino before and can compare.

also sorry one last qn. is it worth getting 2nd hand from CKA? they only provide 6 mths servicing for engine but i find 8k for a 125 scooter really a bit too steep

many many thanks in advance~~ =D

Hi, there!!

I am also in ur shoes before and finally decided to get it and not think so much about it. Since then, it's been great!! Had owned the bike for about 5mths and still have the urge to ride everyday! Servicing wise, I made a check ard and it seems like CKA is very reasonable if u r comparing among Euro scooters. I also had thought about Fino, but my bike friends advised against it. So far, no mods to the bike and is performing well. The new 2010 version has a fuel gauge though! But dun reply too much on it as it is just for reference. Fuel gauges on small bikes are all like that one lah.

Second hand wise, up to u loh. For me, auto bikes abit scary to get 2nd hand as hard to find and fault initially. This bike sure turn many heads so u have to get used to it also. Well, hope it helps and also can see u on the road soon! Happy researching!!

HEy housefly, thanks for your reply! it was great assurance which was what i was hoping for actually hahaha.. after reading your post i made the decision to go down to CKA the next morning.. pity they only had 3 sets there one of which was a super tseng racing display and one a 2nd hand red bone. but they don have anymore of the black with red frame coming with the next batch anymore =( which was the only color i really liked actually..

anyone here selling their bone? or got so sick of their red frame they feel like trading the frame? hehehe

btw hows the braking for you? have u managed to change it yet or gotten used to it already anyway? i understand its some kind of dual braking so it might be a bit different from what ure used to?

Ya, kinda forgot to tell u on the brakes. Erm, not the best out there though but I would say that is enough. Took some time, for me, for the brakes to get seasoned but feel that it could be better. Seem to see that there was a former owner who did HEL steel braided but kinda lazy to go out to look ard. If say that u r just commuting ard, then the brakes will definately be fine!

Ya, the red frame was also wat I was looking for but it was the older version. The ones now all black frame and EFI. Dual braking is abit like lazy braking, so to me nothing different as u will get use to it in no time. Hav fun out there looking! To me, never regret getting one!!

yeah yeah im excited to get one too! just need to make the final decision between the cheaper carb or pricier FI version.. (difference is about 2.7k man)

So which color did u get then? Im thinking of spraying the frame to army green..

btw may i ask how much did u get for it OTR? I don like paying by installments but the price of the new awesome version is making me squirm

I got the black one. Had also the idea of re-spraying the frame but seems like a tedious job and scared that after spraying, the frame not assembled properly then siao liao..I got it for $7500 for the EFI one. Hmm, the EFI is said to be a newer technology and save petrol. To my opinion, think the EFI bike will be more responsive ba, so u gotto see on that..

Yay jus wanna update that im a happy owner of a b-bone now :)

Anyone here having a rideout soon?

Hi sandals. Norm i think 2nd party for new bikes

is enough especially if ure a young rider unless u've got cash to spare for a peace of mind.

Ive always used 3rd party for my 2nd hand.

hey thanks for the reply!

The different is less than 300 for a comprehensive and the 2nd party. so i guess might as well get the comprehensive. =)
