wah bro yr turn 2 faster den me!!! :thumb:

by the way...u can take turn 3 using 2nd gear. i will slowly do dat, coz rite now i cant control my bike when i drop from 4th down 2 gears for turn 3. dats y i use gear 3...:cheeky: must learn bleeping to get a smooth downshift at that turn, using 2nd gear.

gear 2 into turn 3 i think shldnt be a problem.....cos the speed at turn 3 i notice for u in ur video is abt 100km++ reducing to 90km++ and gear 2 is capable of up to 170km/hr but the torque will be high out of turn 3 if u using gear 2..if ur rubbers can take it....think will be fast.....maybe u can try my method so u go into turn 2 using gear 3 meaning when u go into turn 3 u only drop 1 gear into gear 2 rather than u drop 2 gears from gear 4 to gear 2 into turn 3......maybe u can control ur bike better that way....

You will have to be used to using the front brake with only one or two fingers in order to downshift this way. It is best to use your index and middle fingers to brake while keeping your ring and pinky fingers on the throttle.

After you begin braking, pull in the clutch and select the next gear like you would normally.

Here is the tricky part. Still holding the clutch in, use the palm of your hand and/or your ring and pinky fingers to rev the engine slightly.

Remember to keep braking smoothly with your index and middle fingers.

When the engine is revved up slightly, let the clutch back out to engage the next gear. The goal here is to match the revolutions of the engine to what they need to be to travel the same speed in the lower gear. This smooths the transition between gears and eliminates the need to slip the clutch quite as much.

If the bike jerks forward when you let the clutch out the engine was turning too fast. Don't rev it as much next time.

If the bike rapidly slows, the engine wasn't turning fast enough so you need to rev it more before releasing the clutch.

Repeat each time you shift down a gear. This technique is especially useful in the lower gears, which generally have a wider gap between gear ratios.

actually i see ur video...i think most of the turns can do in gear 2 leh.....like that we will always be in the powerband to take our bike out of the corner.....only scared the rear tyre give way only......cos powering out in gear 2 v torquey leh

What Video, post the link leh I also wanna see.

MSF67,

how to adjust the suspension?btw,is stock adjustment good enough for track use?

yr wt shdnt be very far off from mine....u shd be 60kg plus rite???? i am 54kg...hehehe.....and stock settings has no problem for me, at my pace. but i did adjust my settings recently, to play around and test lah. And to see if my front tyre still wears out much faster den my back or not.

My suspension setting :-

Front

both rebound and compression 1 ACL from full hard. Preload about 7 ACL from full hard.

Rear

both rebound and compression 1 ACL from full hard. Preload raise up to position 6(stock is 4).

Like i said, stock settings was already ok for my pace. had no problems on track with stock. only my front tyre wears out much faster then back...WHICH MIGHT NOT BE DUE TO SUSPENSION, maybe due to riding style.

But i play around with my settings to get a feel. And already tested in sepang with these settings...turns out good. Have yet to test in PG. Shd be no problem.

Up to u to play around with yr settings. BUt if there's no problem riding with yr stock.....u dun really hav to adjust them.

Yup. i m find man. injurie r minor. but is pain in the a$$ da my bike got slide. but i m glad i can stil ride home with e bike. so far so good. already got e damage replace.

Yup. Will Definately c u on track again. kp in touch.

Hey fuwen, ow the goin bro???? take ur time dont rush thing (goin track) let mental/physical recover 1st, beside da bike. Something to learn from tat day crash......unless u're pro. 'paid to ride fast' recover are priority to these people.....

So next time, be extra cautious while enter to exit corner, meanwhile tried to get feedback from ur bike especially the TIRE...

we want to enjoy the trackday or track session rite!!

unlike those racer, they for sure most of the time ride FAST really FAST

their practice is for competition...so rite now u not 1 of them,

hope future to come i also want to see u in MSS or any other

sportbike competition.....some ppl learn from teacher + experience + hardship (like more personal practice on weekday)

some born to be fast naturally.

So for time being just relax urself, recover back the $$$$$ tat goes to ur baby.........
