in the morning when we cold start, sometimes engine will stall coz the headlight is drawing current from the batt and the charging system, causing it to stall. so the way to prevent stalling is to install a headlight switch so you can turn off your headlight when you cold start your bike.

Gathering Point : Ang Mo Kio Blk 645 carpark

You can search the location using the postal code (560645) with streetdirectory.com.

Location of Satay eating place : TBC not far from Gathering point but very far.

Programs for the outing are as follows...

  • 2100hrs - Gather at AMK BLK 645 carpark
  • 2200hrs - Travel to satay eating place (super far away from gathering point)
  • 2330hrs - Rounding to Yishun Dam non stop and cut between cars and bikes
  • 0000hrs - Showing off DIY stuff, example, spoiler, headlight switch,speakers
  • 0030hrs - Jio other bikers to race and to see who can corner better
  • 0100hrs - Opitonal JB petrol Top-up (Remember to bring Passport and white card...)

is that nessa to told other that u doing another headlight switch? just for your info refering to LTA standard head light had to be on when you start your engine ,while not you can switch on or off as u like depending on your own DIY

I had no prob wif watever starting cold engine den engine stalling cos i got my headlight on...for 3 yrs of my s4... not even a issue.... so wat toking u??

 

aniwae i oso hav a headlight switch.... for fun.... but i definitely on it on the rds... cos i dun wan kenna $30.... but when queue up for jams in jb... i switch off lor... :cheeky:

some of the text which i liked about what bro marvypower had posted in the s4 monthly outings thread..

There'll always be changes as time passes..

Not everybody buys our ideas.

But, few things which I really hope everyone here can bear in mind whilst in S4 thread:

 

1) Always give others a chance

2) Try not to blame others as you may also be at fault

3) Our aim is to develop more bonding and build more friendship.

(not ganging up to bully ppl)

 

A moderator requires such virtues in order to be more approachable, gain trust and respect.

 

in which I am still trying..

just a simple pledge..

 

We the riders of Super 4,

Pledge ourselves not to flame others.

Regardless of race, language or religion,

to build a democratic forum,

base on riding safely and smoothly,

so as to achieve, happiness, unity, and progress for our forum

i believe the above applies to the mods in SBF too...

we shall see if the new mod really have what it takes to be a mod or not. :smile:
