Well, it seems that all we do here in Singapore is work, work and work harder to pay, pay and pay more...Is that all to LIFE???....

Forgive me hijacking your post, but that feeling is not unique to Singapore. Every now and then, the best we can do for ourselves is to strive to be happier with what we already have. Wherever we live.

And i do have to agree with you there but i've lived in a few countries before and it's all for work purposes...And it's very much different to how people in other countries approached LIFE...For an example, a friend of mine from USA visited Vietnam and Myannmar recently, and he was surprised to what he sees...He said,

"I've been to Singapore and now i'm visiting these two countries just to explore and understand how Asian people are coping with the world changes...I saw that Singaporeans are ever striving to be the best, get the best and live the best way ever, without wanting to stop halfway through and keep on going and going....But my surprise was how the other two countries were taking it...They were moving to their own pace of LIFE, without trying to find a heart attack by rushing into industrialization and production, and the best of all, i see them trying hard to preserve their culture as if they were so very much afraid if they proceed with the world changes and expectations, they'll lose not only their culture but also themselves....I adore that and i'm for one who come from a highly structured culture am still trying to figure out the origins of my culture....My admiration goes out to these two countries...."

That's all i can share with everyone here my good friend, take it from my friend from the USA....Cheers...
