Hey all. Thought I'd share the news that the new 2015 V-Strom 650 XT is now available for orders from dealers. Prices vary, but tend to be around $26-27k OTR with COE (but excluding insurance), and it comes fully kitted out with engine crash bars, plastic skid plate, centre stand (CENTRE STAND!), hand guards, and a full H&B pannier system. Guan Hoe said the bike would be ready for collection within a week or two, but that the panniers would come a few weeks later, and you'd have to go back to have it installed. Visited them last week and called them up today, so the news is so fresh not all dealers know about it yet. Hah. I know because I asked around at Alexandra this afternoon and they seemed surprised when I told them the bike is ready for sale.

barely 5' ), riding the V Strom 650XT hasn't been easy so i have recently acquired for myself another bike, Victory Cross Country. Btw i have another Kawasaki D-tracker & a Nissan Sylphy so the V Strom is seriously under utilise.

Glad to join u guys.

I will getting a '09 dl650 this saturday.

Can i just ask about the few things below.

 

1) Does Clifford opens on saturday morning? Plan to lower my DL650

2) What is facebook group name

3) My bikes comes with Leo vince full exhaust system. Will changing to the stock help on the fuel consumption.

4) Lastly im a halfman, standing at 1.58cm. Any advice positive/negative welcome!
