F 800 Gs is on sale in Germany since 3 months. Obviously it sells like hotcake, production runs at maximum.

 

F 650 GS is available also at Louis. It's the scale down version of the F 800 GS. Lesser suspension travel, lesser Hp, more basic design, more suitable for shorter people (F 800 GS is pretty high). It is actually not a small bike at all, realistically seen. Same 800 cc engine.

 

Yes agreed. I rekon if I ride a GS12 and it tips over, my legs wont be able to support that heavy beast. The GS 8 and 6.5 should be more suitable for most people.

i over heard that he's good in tps adjustment....

 

Last heard he's at Mah Motors aft leaving Motoworld. Can anybody else confirm?

BMW R 12 GS: White Power 4014 Emulsion + Wilbers 642 shocks, Hepco&Becker cases on Seng Kwan modified H&B racks, Ilmenberger carbon rear hugger, Pivotpegz II, Sedcem screen with MRA spoiler, SW-Motech Crashbars, Hella FF50 'Fernblau' edition.

i juz saw the transalp at loois together wif the griso, gs1200 adventure, gs600 and a dl1000..

 

seems to me they are going into this market.. on a side note, the transalp look gd..

wooo...Loois have finally realised that adv riding is the "in" thing now, look at all the adv bikes in the showroom....pity they still don't have the DL650 back in stock yet...

As I said already. Because Mr. Lee or the importer Guan Hoe did not fill the pre-order form accordingly last year, they simply did not get enough numbers DL650 from Suzuki.

 

They will have a new chance on the next pre-order session. New DL650 will likely be ready in Nov, so better hope they ordered sufficiently, or Suzuki will bypass Singapore again. I guess they'll increase price as a result of their own mistake.

 

Or they would have to try getting left over DL650 from overseas. But since it sells like hotcake everywhere, there are no leftovers in the market.

 

Old style MC shop is going to die. Shame for Louis, as I always like them.

 

If you are in the market for an adventure tourer and can't wait for the DL650, the new Transalp or the new F 650 GS are the way to go. But ask for the Transalp ABS version - NIL - zilch - zero! Leaves the F 650 GS as the only.

I know a Strommer who puts on tk80 tyres. It really does give the bike a meaner look. Legality wise no idea. Just dun get caught by the preying eyes. :cool:

i read some of the report that it is good for off road , but not so good for conerning on tarmac, but it is good to get multiple orgasm as the vibration can be felt:cheeky: :cheeky:
