I am glad all went well.......... BTW

There is also a special connector cord 56-263 for the XS800 that will allow U to charge any car battery directly thru the Cig. Lighter holder. So this means that U dun hv to remove the battery in a car for charging - just charge directly.

Thank mate .......... as to the matter of weight - the pocket-size CTEK charger XS800 at 500grams or half a kilo can be easily shared among friends or bikers.

This XS800 can be easily carried on long trip as a backup, every unit comes wif a extra charging Plug cord to allow charging without removing the battery, just plug & charge.

Most of us may not need a battery charger all the time, by sharing the overall cost will be lowered.

Very true. It's so light compared to the Vanson charger.

I was at your shop around 12.30 and you weren't in. Yup, one of the staff verified that the Vanson charger is so much heavier. Unbelievable, the weight and size of the CTEK charger.

I have an old Vanson (non-automatic) charger from long ago, yeah it's really heavy compared to the CTEK one.

Sorry................ mate ............. :faint: :faint: :faint:

Hi Lim,

Just want to check with you, I just bought a new MF battery, so going to give it an initial charge. Can I use the CTEK battery charger for this??

Do I need to leave it on for a longer period of time for the first charge (like HP battery)?

Thanks!

Yes, U can use the CTEK XS800 to charge - when battery is "Fully charged" the XS800 will go into a trickle charge. Pls read your instruction manual for a full

understanding of the charging method on page 4.

cheers mate

Ok thanks. I was afraid the charger will not be able to charge as it thinks the battery is 'dead' cos not charged at all....

Hi Mr. Lim,

I dropped by your place on Tuesday afternoon but you were not around, bought a set of XS800 from your employee and very satisfy with the charger so far, it charged my half flat 10AH battery in 6 hours yesterday.

Do you sell extra battery connector? if yes, what is the price?

I am glad it helps - but U may not need to charge till full, in case U R in a hurry. I can see from the picture U hv attached the X'tra charging cord to yr bike. Once the X'tra charging cord is fixed to yr bike future charging will really be convience - no need to remove the battery any more - jus charge directly..

Cheers................ Mate :cheer: :cheer:

I like the retro bike at the back, Phang. I think I met the owner at SBBF last year on the 2nd day. I think I'll try my charger tomorrow or something. See how it goes.
