a brand new wing rack cost $450 and the Bracket for bird is another $200 i think. This was quoted by the shop near eminent plaza beside the scooter shops. The shop opp ducati showroom.

 

The rack is solid metal rack and it will rock or bend like those cheaper rack. It can mit MOST givi box and there is not a need to adjust the signal light.

 

So far i can travel up till 245km/h with the box and squeezing in singapore jam has no problem cept goin to carpark at certain non biker friendly shopping center is a hassle.

 

U want mine? i got a wingrack and also the box i am selling even less than half the price quoted by that shop....kekekekee

Wing rack are universal rack. It is only 2 metal plates to hold side pannier only(provided it is a givi box it should fit).

 

The bracket are the ones that is bike specific. Like the super 4 u rode the long metal bar is design specifically for super4 but the top rack is consider almost universal.

 

You can use my wingrack on a AT, Vara, Bandits..etc. I went to Givi site and they mention thier wingrack is a universal rack. Is the bracket is different.

 

there is 2 type of givi wingrack one is the normal wingrack and the other is wingrack 2. Frankly i dont even know what is the difference in the 2 of them.

Duper four.... the box do not get glossy.. esp when it is used as panniers.. it will get scratch n bump very easily......

 

wingrack is made of alloy steel if im not wrong, so its stronger n harder.... and it comez wif 2 big side lights which canr eplace ur current one or used together.. it is veri useful...

 

Price of wingrack range frm $300 -$450... depends on wot box u wanna get.. if u get Givi E36, will be cheaper... if get E360.. will be $50++ more expensive...

 

But wingrack is worth every penny.. u wun nid to worry whether the rack wun tahan the high speed at which u travel... or whether ur luggage is too heavy.. saw quite a few BBs at GP Esso wif the rack... itz absolutely chio!~~

The box is 36L box Good condition. Quite Big and can put 2 helmets. I am lookin at a price below 200. I give a good price. Infact i got a pic of the bike with box the look from the front, back and side view. But too big to post it here.

 

Wingrack is durable and able to withstand weights. Cheapo rack may or maybe not b able to hold.

 

I am sure u dont want a rack and bracket that are not customised for bird to be modifed to put on your bird rite?

 

Sekali the bracket or rack gave way while riding. Jialak man..

 

The choice is your duper4. we can say so much the final call will be you.Whatever it is dont get a rack and then buy those small box which can only put rain gear, and bike cover type those 21l box. Really not worth the money,

Guys, sorry for let go the aeroplane. Seem like Tiger airways SD1 promotion was to hard to be true. Think something screw ups with my battery.

 

Riding 2001 model, 2nd batch FI. Stock bike without any add on esp on electrical side(except stupid IU unit that keep sucking money from the cashcard). No recent mods prior to problem. Bike been running as per normal. After stop for 5hrs, unable to start the bike. Sound like the battery was week. After release the starter, clock reset and all LED on (as when turn on the key). Thinking the battery was weak/die, so resort to push start. The bike was able to start then (normal condition, without any abnormal syntoms).

 

Riding back for 30min rides averaging 90km/hr, with hope to charge back the battery. Before off the engine, try to throttle to check the RR was in good shape. Headlight brighter when throttle more (RR in good codition I believe). Unable to measure the volts and amp as no multimeter around.

 

With multimeter to check the next day, the battery volts show 12volts (should be 13 to 13.5), amp from 19A and drop to 15A within 3-4sec. So I believe the battery not in good shape. Likely battery problem. Appreciate any help out there... just to confrim before going down to buy new battery. BAttery seem able to charge properly, so dont seem stator problem too. Guess I might be wrong too...

 

Tomorrow would be no XX to office, just a slow MRT. Need to head down much earlier than normal... sigh..
