btw.. ystd went to kranji fishing spot a n b.. no fish.. lolz.. den cross over to other side where the malaysia area is tat side.. the place freaking low tide, muddy, stoney, slippery.. got cut 4x.. while trying to "smuggle" into tat area.. lol.. cos low tide den gotta cross here n there thru the stones.. den so slippery oso.. den i slip..

 

btw.. there got small crabs, horseshoe crab, prawns, a few kind of fishes.. prepared 2 get bitten by at least 10 mosquitoes while fishing.. i step in there only kenna 5 liao.. btw damn suay no prawn.. so use fish to catch..

 

btw OT..the scenery there nice.. if u good in nite photography.. go there wif ur tele lense.. hee =P the reflection v.nice..

That catch was from a boat trip i had off changi waters with some forumers from fishing kakis.com and from here a few months back.I go for offshore fishing trips once or twice a month.

 

Here's another one..

 

And perhaps we could gather kakis from this thread who are interested to go on a trip of our own someday..

bro..kranji reserviour fishing spot B u need to have some patience...for me last time..i went 3 times a week...sometime not even one kanna..but one month i can get 3 tomans est at least 4kg per fish.Small one i mostly let go. What u use for the spot B ??i mean the bait.. I uses smal catfish or Chicken Heart that round one..not the loose loose meat.

catfish alive or dead? i using those fish buy from supermarket.. wanted to buy prawns but no more n it was late..

oh bro...in Kranji...use alive catfish..go to Golden mile complex level 2..go to the fish dept there got a lot..there cheaper...get the smallest can find..u choose urself den weigh it.If not..use CHICKEN heart where u can get it in Market or SUpermarket...use only the heart..those surrounding the heart if can..remove it and try to use for standby if heart is use up.

how long? can't say really, i guess this one was about 1/2 an hr..

really depends on the conditions...

if it's high tide n sunny, or nearing sunset, then you don't have to wait long to catch them...

but if it rains n the weather is crappy, then you could fish the whole day and all you'd catch are eels & small catfish..

 

anyways, there are big big! seabass that swim at the end of the jetty at the Old PCG base....

& I mean big!...& there are about 7 of them...

every night they'll just swim at the end of the jetty...

only thing they'll eat are small half-beaks....

sia lah.. yday i go to Bedok jetty.. the last time i go there was like 6 years ago where i catch Tamban fish like no body business.. hehe..

but yday i go ah.. so difficult to catch sia... like one at a time. the other time i go hor.. i cast one time, reel, get mini 3... no so difficult.. hehe.. feel like throw a 'jala' those net.. but dun tink so, sure bound to have stares from ppl.

i dun know lah.. i find a little rude like that to cast net.. cos u see, the rest might feel that their chances of gettimg them is slim cos someone jus cast. but than again, so many many fish lor still.. dun know lah... but than ah, tempting sia seeing the fishes swim. so near to the jetty some more. i think maybe i can do that during weekdays morning where not much ppl hor.
