From my exp,it ranges from 200bht to 300bht to rent one..depending on auto or manual n model oso..New models like Yamaha Fino costs slighty more.

25th March 2009 - Passed 2B

1st April 2009 - Bought 1st bike, a 2nd hand TA200 Honda Phantom cruiser (Still riding it)

6th Aug 2009 - Bought a used but overhauled Suzuki DR200se scrambler (Scrapped in 2010)

hi people... its me again... reporting on the status... both of them went to zzz early since they are going out to koh tao tml morning... leaving me behind... :cry:

 

today we rode around the island... the perimeter road is about 50km long... visited a number of attractions :cheeky:

 

and on the way ninjapura saw a small hill... and decided to try the road up the hill... the road is deceivingly easy at first... but after another 200m or so from the perimeter road... it became a radical climb... about 50 degrees up from horizontal...

 

naturally... I went all the way on top :smile:

 

the rxz survived for half the slope... and the bike stalled and was sliding BACKWARDS with both brakes jammed... I think I heard someone screaming for help :cheeky:

 

the rwr overheated 3/4 up the slope... steam bellowing out from the fairing... :giddy:

 

wanted to take class 2 license today but the shop is closed on sundays... so upset... :cry: nvm... I have the whole of tml... :weep:

Yo Victor how much does it cost to rent a cub kia in thailand for a day?

 

I am not so sure for the thai mainland, but in koh samui, every single kup cost 200 baht a day... some other prices that I know of are: yamaha xr250 500 baht a day, honda cb1300 1500 baht a day

In 2006, I rented in Phuket

 

i. TDM850 @ 800 Bahts/day.

 

ii. BMW650GS @2000 Bahts a day. :sian: si peh xiong but shiok after I try it, I was fortunately as in 06, the GS was almost brand new like 2000km on the clock, subsequently in 07 and 08, when I revisited the place, it is still being rented out at 2000 Bahts.:angel:
