friday will not be so jam is go in around..... say... after 11-12.

10pm-11pm they open one car lane for bikes.

wow.. how the water get into your fuel tank??

well...the simple story is that all 3 of us pump V-power at a Shell station after coming off the ferry from KSM...the 2 of them pump before me...I am the last one...but as V-power is supposed to be premium petrol in thailand...not many people pump it so there is a build-up of water in the storage tank(most likely due to rain seeping through the tank over time)..and as we all know...petrol floats on top of water....that's why ninja and vidak's petrol is ok...mine contaminated with water...more than 1 litre of water was drained out and the rest of the tank had to be discarded too.

 

but to be fair to the petrol station...after they knew of the problem(ninja went over with my drained-out water and talked to them with his Thai.My thai CMI lar:()....they got a truck with drums on top of it to come in and try to settle the issue...and they filled up my tank with non-contamined petrol.

 

the entire fiasco made us waste at least 3 hrs...200 baht...among other things...but it also made us know of the little things that we wouldnt even think about in SG.:cheeky:

yeah... wat is premium to us doesn't mean good in foreign country. Safer is to follow wat local do...

 

 

my pc only need octane 88.

 

travel under 110km/h can get 22-24km/l

 

you should get 1 too =)

lol like what? use the tissue paper suck up the oil ah? or drill small hole at the bottom of the bottle to drain the water out then transfer V power in.. ? lol

 

yeah... wat is premium to us doesn't mean good in foreign country. Safer is to follow wat local do...

at first through the oil filter(took out filter and drain from there)..as shown in the pic...

 

after that he took out the entire fuel tank(taking too long to drain)...and turn it upside down...

 

also took air gun to spray dry the tank...not 100% ideal but its the best at that time.
