i had just bought e a/m item.

still trying to figure out how to fix it. anyone had fix it before can please assist

just follow the wiring digram... most minimum to wire up is power, ground, and ignition sense... wiring up to signal lights are recommended... remote start and immobilizer is optional...

yeah i saw e diagram. doesnt know which one to follow ac or dc setup

 

plus the diagram show all wires to e ignition. my ignition wire got red,blue and green. RS250 '03.

 

anyway electrical is not my forte. still trying to figure out e wiring. even the red wire or live wire is tapped from the ignition live wire. please advise thks

when i was using steelmate, i deleted alot of the wires, leaving only the red, black, the 2 yellows and the orange. cos these are the only wires that are needed for the alarm to work. i forgo the remote start thingy.

 

after that, black to ground (or negative terminal of your battery), red to positive terminal battery, the 2 yellows to the left and right signal and the orange to the license plate light (or tail light also can). but after 3 months the alarm stopped doing its job and the guys over at the famous forum site refuse to entertain me for warranty claims.

1 black wire with a ring connect to battery -

 

2 yellow wires connect to both signal lights (one wire to each side)

 

1 brown wire to ignition on/ ignition fuse/or any place that has a +12v only when your key is turned to the "ON" position.

 

These are the basic wires, for more refer to SPY alarm thread in mass order section.

ooo..sorry to hear tat dude.. i m worried to fix it up.. e diagram showed e red wire is to tap from e ignition but some people say just tap from e battery can liao..

 

tats y i asking for those who had fix this alarm before

i also not sure what wire to connect e brown one as my ignition wire got red,blue and green

yeah man... correct.. all these are what I've done... :)

 

SO TS, you can just follow their instructions... eliminate the rest of the colours... :)

Hi FunkyChicken, did you manage to install anti-hijack for macan_putih? You are providing alarm installation service right?

 

If the alarms that you install has the anti-hijack feature, I highly recommend you to install that. It is especially helpful for people riding up north.

Just got my Spy two way alarm yesterday.

 

Going to figure out how to install it too. Sigh....
