. Purpose is 'Why pay more' or 'legal & regulations' warning to fellow bikers so my lesson learnt i paid free for you all

hmmm...the tittle of the post contradict your statement. anyway thank you very much for paying on all the biker's behalf for the lesson.

maybe the government should post a no parking sign every 15m along the pavement too so we guys won't miss it.

Or maybe i should try parking my car under the void deck since the no parking signs only apply to motorbikes.

enuff said.

after all this debate.. juz wanna noe this building provide free parking for bike or must pay?? or only tenant can park their bike there??

Parking for tenant only. Visitor bike can park for short time but must official visit & register at counter. THere is only a tiny sign printed on A4 paper saying so. Management Director still die die dont want to return even a single dollar.

I pity for fishlipps. To the mother fu_ker management of that building, to impose a S$150 fee for unclamping a motorcycle is definitely daylight robbery. They should have some sympathy, especially in this present economic downturn.

Totally a mother fu_ker and I would have prayed that members of the management will crash into a tree and rot in hell but rather, I bless them to live to a healthy ripe age.

In exchange for this they will see all their loved ones die of tragic accidents and diseases in front of their eyes.

One by one they will see their grand parents, parents, children and grand children leave before them.

They will then lead a lonely life without any loved ones and be forgotten in an old folks home in JB.

my thooughts exactly.

TS , why dun you park your bike IN your house? can save on HDB season parking. There lagi got no wheel clamp sign. heck i think there's no rules to say u cannot park inside your house. this type of posting really asking to be flamed.

The Management HAVE every right to enforce its rules on its property. Who are you to challenge that? You can proof meh it's your first time? You can prove you didn't know about the rules - instead of just trying your luck? No right?

Remember, when you go to people's place, u're a guest. Respect people's rules. Didn't anyone teach you this? So if you kena summon or clamped, why is it unfair? park on the rooadside kerb next time. it would cost you only $70.

TS , this thread concludes that the management there is strict and you were not following the rules.

heartless? lol. then if they un-clamp ever single vehicle like that. they'll probably end up like you, jobless.

The street is for show, the track is for go. Put up or shut up

Thank you very much for your kind thought. Yes the purpose is to highlight such unfair & extortion treatment. For the flamers, you shud take note once again that it was official business, there is NO directions signs, and bldg tenant wrote appeal to Management. Which took almost 3 weeks to answer "NO". Before you flame thinking I am stupid. And yes I am a fairly new rider. Thank You

hmmm...since when is a job interview an official business? No signs? when i doubt, ask. Building TENANT pays rent to use the space and does not own any share in the building. They have very limited rights too. You actually believe that the tenant can sucessfully appeal for a job applicant who indescriminately park in the building?

bottom line is:

TS still thinks he has the right to park there / He still thinks that he has done nothing wrong / He feels that since it's his first time getting clamped, he has the right to demand a full discharge / He feels that his so called 'official' business is such a big fork that it superceeds the rules the bulding management has set for ALL / He feels that by whining here, he can gather sympathy and pacify himself.

Grow Up and Learn and take responsiblity of your own actions. And quit whining.

I sympathize with you, especially in this time of the economic crisis where money is of primary importance. What I'm trying to put across here is that for S$150 to unclamp the bike is really too much, despite several appeals having been made. I know that a mistake had been made by the owner and he has to bear some responsibility, but this is not a crime either. In my opinion, a fee of between $30 and $50 should be more than adequate. These bas_tards are just out of their mind and they'll try every means and methods to take the maximum advantage for a misdemeanor. After all, the bike was still in the vicinity of the carpark, NOT AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE SHOPPING COMPLEX. Does it pose a danger to other users, I doubt so.

Anyway, it's good for you to post this thread so that it can also serve as a warning to other bikers who are unaware of this fu_king building. As to those flamers, karma will befall on you because you'll never know 1 day you may be in the same situation yourself, especially in times of emergency, like answering to a nature's call (stomachache, etc). At that time, you'll also curse and swear at such a building's management.

Seems karma has already befallen to the TS first. and next would be the ones who have the same thinking as him.

Karma doesnt happen to those who actually follow rules .

Seems that some people need to READ and UNDERSTAND what he wrote. He's not asking for lesser fine. he's demanding for TOTAL discharge on the merit that it was his first offence. (rightt...). And never in his posts did he admit he's in wrong. So is it the management fault that the would not entertain his appeal?

We shall see. He who laughs last, laughs best. That is why there are still so many Sinkaporeans so "kuai kuai" to behave under the PAPies regime. Good for you people. Bravo.

By the way, I'll never believe there's anyone in this world who is so innocent and holy that he/she has never broken a law before, albeit even a minor one. Who are you trying to kid?

The main objective of a high amount is to let offender feel the pinch so that they will not do it again.

nope..not trying kidding anyone..i didn't say that everyone else have done nthing wrong either. what i did say is about taking responsiblity for your actions and not whining .

Karma doesnt happen to those who actually follow rules .

So, do I take it to mean Karma will happen to those who actually DON'T follow rules?

..i didn't say that everyone else have done nthing wrong either.

So, do I take it to mean that everyone has indeed done something wrong?

CONCLUSION: Don't the above 2 posts mean that EVERYONE IS ALSO AFFECTED BY KARMA? Why did you contradict yourself? Very silly indeed. Are you okay or not?

Anyway, enough's been said and I don't think we should dwell on this further. My objective, right from the beginning, is to criticize the fuc_king management for imposing such a high price for unclamping the bike. It doesn't commensurate with the gravity of the offence committed. A forumer said that it's to deter repeat offenders, but they should at least allowed some negotiations for a reduction in the fine for first-time offenders. They would already have records for those repeated offenders in future. Mind you, even the traffic police will consider appeals for first-time parking offenders and subsequently to impose a lesser charge. I'm not advocating rampant inconsiderate parking, but there should be some leeway for first-timers in your premises (to serve as a warning). You can imagine the fine which the TP imposes for kerbside parking is only S$70. So, how the fuc_k can they come up to S$150?

ok Thks you all for yr posts. I do not wish to make matters too out-of-hand. The purpose this post is to warn fellow bikers about building's eager clamping policy. Never once did I say I was NOT wrong. Flamers must be in league with the place somehow i feel since they argue so strongly against this. Its even acknowledged by the building themselves and other ppl here that this place is known to clamp for exorbitant fee. The most is we can prevent others from falling into this trap.
