Guys,

 

Got to know from a friend that using rxz header on S4 is not good (due to different blub voltage i thinj). Just need your opinions. Is it true? And if it is, why isn't it good? Thanks.

i got install b4. disadvagte is inside the bulb socket cant hold the H4 light heat and sometime u can smell some burn from the socket.

i also tot so wat rxz header siah.. 2stroke header into 4stroke..

 

rxz headlight is using hs bulb..

s4 is using h4 bulb

 

same voltage, different wattage and brightness

I always see alot of people fixing RXZ headlight on S4. Why is it so? Just "cosmetic" purposes? Cos' IMO the original headlight looks so much better as compared to it...

for me cosmetic purpose. i put RXZ headlight bcoz it looks nicer as the IMO headlight looks abit plain to me.. aniwaes im changing my Headlight to Katana headlight soon....

btw i want to ask if changing the "head" of s4 izzit legal?? like what ppl say those angel or devil eyes etc..

guess the angel eye and devil eye you are referring to are the leds in the headlight, those are illegal too.

I ever use a RXZ head for my s4. Could pass inspection without problem. However, a friend had failed his inspection for the RXZ head on his S4. So some inspection center more strict than others.

yup ur right joey, i've been using my rxz headlight 4 2 yrs, so far inspection no prob... i also go sim ming vicom.

from what i heard, you need to change the signal light to 6watts or more, and the headlight to the white light bulb cos it uses higher voltage, reason being current bulbs on the rxz header uses lower power (3 watts if i am not wrong) and the average power given off by super 4 is way higher than this

thought normally headlight sure fail de ? Even if i use original Spec 3 headlight also fail sia...

so far i go inspection all pass, they check the headlight, signal light and braking light manually. wat i rmbr last time they got use a machine, recently went for inspection they use manually...

Used to have RXZ headlight. Found that the light not so bright so i change back the original headlight. Brighter and also i like to play with the Highbeam. hehehe...

 

Oh ya.. my original headlight also never pass. But overall pass la.
