Was comtemplating pushing the bike to shop, ASPhoon only take it in for $4500!!!!

Is that a fair deal for 2002 model, but registered in 2004?????

Thinking of getting a new FZ1-S (ABS), quoted me $19400 w/o insurance.

But I hate the exhaust! so ugly.

Still considering that 2yr old TDM900, now price dropped to $13800!!!!!

Sent my bike to Planet motor.

First tried to re-thread the "hole".

THe whole already at the maximum screw size, so no go.

Remove the base plate, sent for welding and drilled to the smallest screw size available, so that in future can still re-thread the "hole".

Now OK no more leaking.

Good for another long trip!!!!

When, when, when??????

Hello Bros,

Quoted by Happy125. A brief description with map on the trip. This will be a recce ride for a group riding during the CNY holiday. I'm marking the route on my GPS as we travel. So patience is needed.

Suggested Date 29th-31st of January

leaving KL ard 9am ETD on the 29th. Since u guys are coming up from Singapore we can adjust the timing. Its will be nice scenic ride.. no rushing to the destination as we will be passing thru some village... i(marshaling) did the route with MyKSR group frm KL during the Christmas holiday. it took the KSR abt 11 hrs to reach the destination(top speed only 110M/h) with tremendous amount of pitstop...

RV @ SG BULOH RnR ---> IPOH (on the highway)

(+/- 210 km)

Fuel up bikes.

next pit stop for refueling will be at Tapah.

Exit kuala Kangsar theres a refuel point here too.

this is the map starting frm ipoh exiting at Kuala Kangsar.. frm there its a nice highway route/back roads...

To PENANG frm SIK(highway)

(=/-90km)

*Optional: stay one night in SIK at a friends chalet/homestay b4 heading to penang on day 2. Dinner/breakfast included!*

The 1st no does not matter, the 2nd number more applicable.

For me I prefer 50, thicker which I think is better for a hot bike and weather.

personally, i've been regularly using 10w-40 & most of the time its MOTUL. I cant really comment on the EO usages, different rider may have their own preferences.

I have no problems with EO 10w-40 by Motul & still am using it till today.

I cant really remember what vicosity i used in the earlier years when i rode the bike & cant really recall any time that I use EO that is thicker than 40.

But I have use 20w-40 before & recalled no problems either.
