hi guys, i check with vicom, e technican say is illegal meaning conform guarantee plus chop fail inspection, i did write an e-mail to TP waiting for their reply within 5 working day but think most likely from them is illegal la, tink if gunna caught conform will fine so better changed to normal halogen light bulb.

Regarding the non HID white lights, I checked with a LTA officer when I got stopped before.

He said take a piece of paper, put infront of ur headlights, if the paper is yellow or remain white, with no traces of other colour, like blue or purple, it is okay.

This probably means you won't get booked for it, but inspection wise, I think it's best to change the bulb before going.

hi guys, extracted from is blue bulb legal

Qn: Are halogen bulbs that produce whiter light allowed?

Ans: Besides HID headlamps, halogen bulbs that produce whiter light are also allowed. These bulbs are designed to filter out the yellowish spectrum, hence emitting a whiter light that helps the motorists to see what's ahead at night.

hi all,

just received a call from LTA regarding the white halogen light issues, LTA stands is anything below 5000K is approved, that is to say dun exceed 5000k for e light conform guarantee plus chop will pass inspection.

Just to share with forummers here.

Thank you, Safe ride everyone.

so that means:

philips crystalvision is 4300k(pass) white light, therefore pass..

but the diamondvision is 5000k(pass) but blue light, therefore fail?
