Constant sabotaging of bike

Hey guys, my bike got hit twice in two weeks already.

 

First spark plug cap yanked out, now my box lock and ignition key hole got "forceable entry" whole thing broken already, can't even insert my key to unlock steering.

 

Need to tow the whole bike to shop on monday already.

Whats the cost usually for tow + fix on my YBR?

 

Also appeal to any witnesses fooling around with my blue YBR around hougang (Parry) estate there.

 

Uncle bike also want to sabo, nothing stolen just parts broken... need to think who i offend already.

Possible kids fooling around for 1st incidence, the others might be petty thieves, try monitoring yr bike from upstairs if you can see it, install alarm, or cover yr bike. Gd luck

try to take pics of ur bike parts which are being "played" wif..

den make a police report about it with pics present..

install an alarm...it's a "worth it" investment...instead of paying for repairs caused by others.

Spoke to my neighbours and found out that there were 2 chinese youths spotted banging things around my bike at 5am. Lucky when she shouted they ran else they unlock my steering head and push away already, that explains why nothing was stolen.

 

My guess is they used simple tools such as a flat head screwdriver and a hammer to conduct forceable entry. Been wary fellow bikers!

 

Going down to make report, but bike only can tow on monday, no shop open today...

nope park at public road broken lines completely legal. Confirmed is theft attempt.

bro... i personally also recommend installing alarm... go and source around for any reasonable price for purchase and installation.

 

and also, upon having proofs, pls do report to the police

 

if you can catch those culprits, you're not just safeguarding your bike, but also helping a lot of other bikers in your area too!

and one more thing... at Gambas Avenue near the intersection with Woodlands Avenue 7, along the pavement directly opposite Seagate, bikes parking there also have the tendency to get sabo-ed.

 

got one time my hand guard is also nearly removed. think the assembly is a bit too tricky, that's why the whole thing is totally loosen. and they didn't make off with the part, also the thing is now partially damaged liao... *hai*

Anyways installed alarm already, capable of waking up entire neighbourhood/block in open air places.

in addition to alarm, try to cover your bike with a bike cover. lock it or secure it, so they cannot pull out the cover easily. The alarm will go off when they try to tug off ur cover. so u damage nothing. else u have to risk damaging some parts before the alarm goes off.

it's so ****ed up to have them around ur neighborhood, i live at yio chu kang condo also will kena...lizard skin got stolen. if i have enough money i will get the spy alarm system with parameter alarm with range of 5000m. it'll feel so good beating them while their busy dismantling any parts of my bike.

Yes advisable to get the SPY. It does its job very well, almost too well when perimeter is activated. Just turn the micro off and cover your bike, secure it with fastner or something. When try to remove your cover it shuld be violent enough to trigger alarm.
