it depends on the registered year of the bike. for mine, a FX, i got it at Aspoon Alexandra Village for $4800 (machine price). you can try Aspoon and ask them to search for you in their other outlets and if they happens to have it, they can bring it to the outlet you prefer i think.

Hi cktang!

it's possible to get the price you wanted provided you get a good source for it. but for et8 around that price, it might be an old aged et8 and thus becareful with its parts etc.

currently the market price for a brand new et8 is around 6k and good condition 2nd hand et8 would range around 4-5k.

full tank travels around 160-200km, but it varies all for difference bikes (e.g. the petrol you inject, how you handle your throttle etc.) and yes, ET8 consumes alot of petrol.

but still i love my ET8 :lovestruck:

thats quite bad man.. compared to toher scooters that can hit 30-40..

do anyone know whats the reason for such high consumption?

1L of engine would do the job, and as for gear oil, i normally use 1 tube? not sure how many ml or L it is.

top up plug for engine oil is at the LEFT side of the engine, the big black cap at the FRONT of the engine. (near the kick-start)

top up plug for gear oil is at the LEFT side of the engine, the small black cap at the BACK of the engine. (near the kick-start as well)

drop plug for engine oil is at the RIGHT side of the engine, it's some where near your mainstand.

drop plug for gear oil is at the RIGHT side of the engine, it's very troublesome to get that plug out as it's inbetween the engine and rear wheel. it's at the front of the right side engine, look carefully for a small plug.

anyway, any ppl try the MAXIMA engine oil? seems like not bad leh.. haha but dont know suitable for our ET8 or not.
