hi all,

 

Im interested in getting a box for my silver ET8.

i called up piaggio but they told me they run out of silver boxes, and that they wun be ordering any anymore. A lady advised me to take the box for LX.

Do u guys think there's any difference to ET n LX box?

Is there any colour difference? Mine's silver in colour.

 

or is there any podder with silver box for sale?

ET8 topbox is round and LX is square.

 

hopefully they fix the same way and rougly the same size.

hey you guys know the black round cover at the engine left side, the one with the word "piaggio", mine was missing, no idea whether if the mech at kenny's shop forgot to put it back for me when they were doing my rear brake or i dropped it while riding.

 

how much it costs to buy the plastic cover? and where?

urs is piaggo ar? mine write vespa leh...lol...sacali my et is chiong one.

 

where got sell plastic cover for the rattan box one..if got i also want..i planing to use lacquer to finish the box..den inside protect w black trash bag or smth.

just a suggestion go buy this epoxy putty from most hardware store etc .. "homefix" find those PVC putty spread them evenly over the inner layer of the rattan box and let it cure for 48 hours and VOILA you got your own water proof box might want to spray some silicon over the outer part to prevent discolouring.

 

i used it for my FYP and its pretty light after cured and can be shaped and smooth with sand paper use a sponge to spread it to give the best result multi layer is advocated.

dont know it's piaggio or vespa, can't remember haha.. dont think i will be going out today as it's a damn good weather to slack at home hahaha.. been raining since last night. so shiok when i was sleeping.
