i just chop a HRC CDI for my NSR150SP, haha, wondering what power it will give mi

2 stroke engine... the 'power' achievable from aftermarket CDI is negligible IMO...

i cant force my opinion on you but have you ever sat or owned a 2 stroker fitted with a re-mapped aftermarket cdi n well tuned to it?..

changing a cdi is only part of the equation..coupled with a good exhaust..well tuned carburettor..it will definately release alot of extra ponies..your bike will have a much better torque curve and your top speed will definately increase imho....:thumb:

its ok to use the redbull cdi with the power abuser mod...

in comparison wif my previous POP Taladnoi cdi, diz guy (redbull) does d job better.. not only d :thumb: acceleration.. in fact less engine brake den POP which means feels much smoother wen u're slowing down.. superb gadget which makes u wana ride to feel d "bursts" all day long

PLEASE dun get too defensive on your sale lah... nobody is here to kill your sales or say your cdi is not good...

you already mentioned theres a need for a few item upgrade + tuning to release the extra ponies... so i'm trying to point out to people... cdi can only give a smoother ride... not 'power'. IMO yet again.

hey benji do u know if can reprogram my wave i cdi?

it is to remove the powercut problem

the powercut problem comes from the electronic thing attached to the fuel injector if u cn take a look at that also would be nice cos i know nuts about electrical stuff...

u can or know anyone that can?

Dude..you are making a sweeping statement by saying that fixing a "cdi in 2 stroke engine... the 'power' achievable from aftermarket CDI is negligible IMO"...i need to correct your misguided opinion..

First.. i only mentioned that a good exhaust n proper tuning can release extra ponies..not "a few item upgrade" as you claimed

Fixing a "Good" aftermarket cdi alone without Proper tuning of the carburetor will not achieve the desired effect as the jettings must match the new torque curve..even without the upgraded exhaust..you will feel much better accleration..:thumb:

  • 4 weeks later...

Hi there am wondering any shop in Singapore can do the setting for EFI bike?

anyone done before and can share the cost?

anyway my bike is not the big sports bikes but just a small wave I.

just overhaul a few weeks ago and the idling is too low and feels sluggish.

If any bros can recommend a shop that can really do the setting of the EFI will appreciate it.

Also does anyone know HOW they do the setting? issit by using computer or some sophisticated machinery etc2?

thanks
