Years years back started off as a collector, then got time do small mod/DIY, then collect even more... Many to learn from probably a senior like u. haha

expensive hobby. eventually you go on to knives and other gears...

presently having Surefire 6P with BOG Q5 drop in, 6P with KL3 head, Solarforce L2 with R2 drop in, Nitecore D10, fenix L0D, E01, Arc AAA, 2X3D Mag modded with P4 and Q5. 2X2D Maglite.

 

i have some spares Dx AMC 7135 boards to drive Cree P4/Q5 LEDs at 1amp. do let me know if anyone is interested to mod their existing Maglite.

The distance to the tree, where the spot is, at least 1 km away, but it could shine more than that.

BTW, SolarForce-H.K. don't really make CREE "R2" (grade) drop-in, they use some other lower grade CREE to overdrive to make it look like R2. haha I have seen so many "anyhow claimed" model from D.X., but of cos some will claimed that that "R2" is a model number instead of grade of the CREE LED they put inside... :)

Super bright torchlights comes with hefty price tags..!!

blinded by the powerful lights..

 

Hmm... There are many other good quality torches that are not overpriced like what Sxxxxx not selling... For those u prices u seen in Sxxxxx, u can easily get Stainless-Steel grade or Titanium grade with superior CNC machining quality torches...

started off one fine day when i step into night jungle training during NS time, started to feel the power from the dark side... hahaha

it's not meant for illumination, it's a "TORCH"

think abt it if u accidentally on it pointing at your body or somewhere inside your ride... that's it... haha

Nah.. i'm not craz abt torchlights..

i'm satisfied with the one i'm issued with.. if spoilt, go emart and buy..

 

i'll rather spend the dough on petrol..

 

but i do really admire collectors whether be it torch, swords, stamps etc..

$110..... very good light... not those normal.... come test at night.... even if the light can go very far for what? cant even see whats that at a distance.. rite??
