Did lesson 4 for the third time with this blindspot technique today and only got marked once for not checking blindspot when turning out of E brake, passed with 12 demerits

 

Wow good for u. I cleared lesson 3 part 2 today. Only comments are my plank which is still inconsistent sometimes and 11.6s figure 8. So i have to go for circuit revision before going to lesson 4. By the way do i still need submit my booklet to instructor when i come for circuit revision? Or just go straight to take bike and go to level 1?

Sister my license got revoked because failed to attend court. The day I wanted to attend the court I open my bail slip then I realized my court date was yesterday. It was a very silly of me for not checking the date properly.

Yes, just do everything as per normal, follow instructors and wait for them to tell you to take a bike etc etc

Definitely go for RC, the money i spent failing lesson 4 can be used for alot of RC lessons and become god at the circuit, first time i went for lesson4 i got alot of demerits for wobbling in figure 8

Which instructor? And then did he correct your mistakes. Kept repeating same mistakes for? RC build up your confidence but too much I agree is not good. Ask the instructors on your mistakes. I am sure they will be glad to demo or teach you during your RC.

Oops forgot his name. Think is Kelvin the one with white specs. But he did tell me my mistake along the way. Took my 1st pract 4 and i got 40 demerit points. No IF. Realise i got bad habit of checking blindspots too much or had wrong way of checking. So now memorising by hard that whenever u r entering a bend or change lane or turn in the direction u have to check blind spot only once in that direction after check back whenever necessarily. At least today's mood was better now that i know my mistakes.

 

Then again i think diff ppl have different learning curves when learning. Saw a few aldy in pract 7 while im till stuck in pract 4 (we attended lesson 1 at same time). While another girl is also at same rate as me and whenever i see her, she got the sibeh sian look. Fyi, i actually started my pract 1 in September.

While another girl is also at same rate as me and whenever i see her, she got the sibeh sian look. Fyi, i actually started my pract 1 in September.

Glad that you know your mistakes. Don't worry. you will get your licence sooner or later just a matter of time. Looking at your lessons taken, you are already better off than me already.

personally my fig 8 lesson took 6 times... and then internal assessment I took 5 times and still fail in CDC. And the subsequently I change sch to SSDC.

yes i made the mistake on checking blindspot too much on my second prac 4 too, just check back and then look straight, once you start moving off look at the blindspot, thats what i did and only got marked for 1 bs checking mistake.

 

Right now im in prac 5 and i gotta say, its the lesson 1 of the road lessons, i was in a group of repeating people, all failed and have to come back again . instructor said my u turn not consistent, i think he said something like my throttle need to be maintained??? not entirely sure, im not even confident that i can pass on the third attempt, sigh.

If U Turn is not stable, try during circuit after pylon, do a u turn there to practice.

I notice there is a trend especially the eve of public holiday. For example eve of deepavali, even when i look at the slot 1 week plus in advance the slots r "taken up". Not sure if the centre is limiting certain number of students or reduce time slots. But ya, i have to wait till 1st wk for my pract 5 too. Am going for another rc first to practise my crank course again after xmas.

Hais, 4th time attempting lesson 5 still fail...this time is cause at one junction i stop at stop line when forming up for right turn...i think thats the sole reason i failed again...really dk anymore

Well found someone selling their lesson 5 slot on the same day so i retried and pass on my fifth attempt...not sure how to feel about it tbh, end of the lesson instructor told me that because the school wants to increase their passing rate by 2% in 2019 so they are stricter now

Chanced upon this thread... so here to give some encouragement. Never lose heart, keep practising and practising. During my time, ever came across a guy who took more than 10 tries just to pass the final practical evaluation... in the end, he did pass tp with just one try.

Well found someone selling their lesson 5 slot on the same day so i retried and pass on my fifth attempt...not sure how to feel about it tbh, end of the lesson instructor told me that because the school wants to increase their passing rate by 2% in 2019 so they are stricter now

 

Don't give up and I am glad to pass. strict is one reason, but I think they really want you to be stable on the road before moving on to next lesson.

You all will get the license, it just a matter of time.

EDIT: just found out you have to finish lesson6 before unlocking road revision, which is weird because they gave me an option to book road revision after lesson 5 and you would think you should do road revision before going for lesson 6 which is more or less a road test

Whoa. Seems like u r moving forward quite fast. Congrats on ur progress! Think for me cuz i am working and even on Saturdays it is rather hard for me to find slots to book. Just took my 1st lesson 5 today and i failed at safety checks. Need to come back again. Haiz.
