Dear all,

 

I am currently rebuilding my bike from ground up. The bike is completely stripped and have plans to Spray the chassis, all the plastics (tank including), wheels, drive shaft and swingarm.

 

I am now torn between Yeow and Replica. Pricewise, very competitive and it will come up to around the same. I know both can do a good jobm the golden question is which one should i go to?

 

Any braders have advice? This rebuilt is costing me too much, just want to make sure i get what i am paying.

Is $570 a reasonable price for fixing 2 dents on the fuel tank, and a respray of CBR 954 RR paintwork design on a CBR400?

 

I was quoted $120 for labour, $450 for 2 colours and fixing 2 dents on the fuel tank.

That is cheap pricing... just make sure they do it nicely and if there is an option of unsatifactory result which can be returned...

 

any cheaper than this i would think the painter is a new guy or they are using lousy paint...

Although I would say usually if its a kustom jobs in the western countries its the other way around...

i know one painter (kirkjay) that stocks up such products or close to it...

he uses House of Kolor paint.

he has pearls and flakes and kandy paints.

its best you pm as he usually orders them from tcpglobal too....

but good luck on asking him do for you a paint job.....

Maybe u can call tis guy eric 96150675, he did paint work for few bike shops... So far he's work n his design is good, he also do touch up for damage bikes

I want to spray my sp metallic grey-should be single colour for now, anywhere that's good? and also, my rims as well. I thought of going JB to spray, but doesn't sound very safe right? Thanks in advance.

generally many bikeshops wont do touch up.. they will spray the whole part.. how deep is your scratch?

i would recommend highly kustom dimension.. just did my tank with them very happy with the outcome and decided to share with you guys. they are located at blk 1001 bukit merah lane 3 #01-51 just follow the HKL stretch its on the other side. They do cars and bikes. His name is Eric 96150675 will post my bike pictures when i have the time ! cheers!
