hey, for the first practical will the instructors brief first or just throw me on the bike liao?

looking for tips to pass first test from brothers here! :D

nv been to cdc for any class before.. but been to SSDC n BBDC.. i guess all the 1st class is the same.. teach u basic den ask u to familiarise with the bike and part, clutch brake etc.

The interesting part would be to langgah tire.. They will teach you how to half clutch to move off the bike.. Poor clutch control would lead to laggah onto the tire wall lor.. haha..

If your good den they will ask u go round round the small circuit to practice move off and stopping..

hope this help

clutch in, gear one, throttle abit and MAINTAIN, SLOWlY release to half clucth, once the bike moves, SLOWLY release the clutch all the way. whatever it is don't release too fast and throw clutch cause the engine will just stall.

my bike was swapped when the learners were getting back to their backs after the instructors gave them instructors.

if kena that kinda situation how ah? go tell the learner "this is my bike". like that very rude sia.

afraid later tell instructor they will say, bike no prob is your prob T_T

Before u go briefing, place ur helmet on a particular bike 1st den other learners wun take d bike. But I think it's better for u to try on different bikes rather than sticking to gd bikes, I mean for ur latter lessons lah. TP test cannot choose bike de, so u will need 2 adapt to d bike.

Current bike : Wave R From Feb '07..

Failing 1st prac is quite common, no ? I Only passed on my 3rd attempt. I feel that 1st prac is the most important. If you can't handle that well, later on its gonna be hard. So don't worry about failing it. If you feel finding the biting point is hard, throttle a bit more than normal.

this one i agree.. muz adapt to e bike.. cos wen TP really can't choose the bike, gotta make do with what ever bike that is given. Anyway i think all the bike is about the same once u know how to gauge the control ya clutch and throttle, it should be juz a matter of few min that u get use to the another bike
