I dont get what you mean. An SMSA race licence is what we must have the least.

 

10 bikes and we have good for go. Then we meet up and obtain our licences together from SMSA and register in. Rather than all do it individually. I will organise this. But if your name is down, pls dont start flying planes.

there is a way around the racing licence ... the supermoto guys have done it and i personally participated in it in 2007!

 

Talk to the SMSA Motorcycle-in-charge ... I know him personally but I dont want to strain friendship over some racing licence cum membership saga ...

izzit open to sports 400 only?? Any naked series? i tink u can get more then 10 participants.. Sorry, i know its not up to u to decide to open another category but i'm only asking if there's a category for naked i'm definately in if there's a naked category but if only sports then i will try to get a generous fren to loan his bike..

i dont care who organise the race ... we will just piggy back on their event ...

 

like i said ... talk to the SMSA Motorcycle-in-charge ...

 

pls dont make this a sanctioned race or else membership issues, insurance and racing licence will be involved ... we spent so much money on the bike all ready ... what we dont need is to fork out more money for some paper documentations and legality issues ....

 

when I participated in the SM Clubman Race organised by PG in 2006 ... spent a fortune just for a single race ... aint worth it ...

 

you can call this ... GP400 Unofficial Club Race or something ...

 

SMSA motorcycle-in-charge is standing by ... so talk to him, write email, write letter or whatever ...

 

if need be ... we will do it at our very own local track ... and cut that fcuking crap that the track is too small and sh*t ... unless your dragon ballz is the size of a FIFA football ... a track is a track ...

Been keeping up with the local sports for 10 years, you name it sportsbike, MX, Enduro, SM, PocketBike, Pitbike, Cubprix! Too many hot hot chicken sh!t!

 

Now I am try to stir sh!t and hopefully our riders will come up to the challenge with pride and EGO to match! Riding skills aside! There is no substitute for talent and passion! Talent I am lacking but I make it up with a burning passion!

Everybody starts from the bottom and they work their way up.

It was quite a wreck for me when I started...expensive suit, cornering all around the place like a mad car driver, 3 crashes to date. But I'm glad I took the pill in the beginning, wised up over the years and got myself some basic skills and here I am, enjoying the sport as much as everyone are, here.

 

P.S.: Be prepared to put safety down to second on the list when you embark on racing. First on the list would be thrill and also, being competitive.

Johor Clubman Race II - 3rd May 09

Johor Clubman Race III - 26th July 09

Johor Clubman Race IV - 01st Nov 09

Johor Clubman Race V - 13th Dec 09

 

2. For Singapore event, you must possess a valid competition licence issued by Singapore Motor Sports Club.

 

3. Entry Fee for the race is RM150.00 per category.

i agree on da events part.

if we all need a race license, etc for dis race, might as well dont start this thread at all. we wud have joined da clubman races long time ago.

i think something like da fun 5-lap race during track days would be more appropriate. jus a happy2 fun race

lets start with PG Trackday ... 5 laps ... fun (L)ace ...

 

catergory ... Class 2A Open ...

 

no documentations ... just pay PG (RM50 I think) and sign the indemnity form ... 2 hours practice followed by 15 mins of 5 laps action ...

 

top 3 gets to go up PODIUM plus some token prizes from PG ...

 

Prize will be presented by none other than PG VVVIP - Mr Syed
