when u goin bro? Very interested in the Leatt Adventure, but dunno if have enuf money. Bike and other stuff been givin me problems lately, one after another... Best u email the dealers first to confirm which model and size they have in stock... From wat i know, Leatt Adventure range is pretty new, they might have it at the dealers yet..

 

Also since ur overseas, might wanna check EVS-sport's, Evolution Race Collar.. Slighlt cheaper then Leatt Adventure..

Thanks for the heads-up. Have checked out EVS online and will need to go to the store in Brisbane to see the physical unit to decide.

 

I will be in Brisbane on 30 Jan, but only for a day. Will leave on 31 Jan and be back in SG by 4pm on 31 Jan.

 

I will be going to San Francisco on 8 Feb and I think they may have dealers there too. If you want me to purchase for you in Brisbane, you might have to transfer the money to me by tomorrow afternoon. If not, we can meet up after I return for you to try on to decide if you want it, then will get for you when I go to SFO.

 

How's that?

I think i'll just meet up with you to have a look at the neck brace and maybe try for sizing... I cant afford to get anything Jan and Feb, tight budget..

My stay in Brisbane was too short, plus the dealer was located in a really deserted town called Ormeau, whose train station didnt even have a ticketing booth in operation. Everything's shut down, and couldn't get to the town from the train station, located 4km away from the town. Contemplated walking but was worried I wont make it back in time.

 

Will try to get to a dealer in the US.

I would love to buy one, but I would like to see the sizing first. Leatt recommends S for women as well as youths below 16. Sounds like the right size for Asians, and that the M may be a bit bigger than we would expect. Lawrence, if you have the chance to try it out, could you please let us know whether S or M would fit you better? Thanks.

Have emailed Leatt website, still waiting for their response on Asian fitting. Especially for me, I am 5'6" and 120lbs. That equates to roughly the size and weight of an american 12-14 year old... hahaha

Hi contrarian, just got back today

 

No luck there. Spoke to some bike shops and riders there - not sure why, but the general opinion from riders there is that Leatt is better than EVS. Maybe because its more expensive? It also does look better.

 

But as I have yet to try both, cant add my 2 cents.

 

Will keep u guys posted if I come across them and get to try them out.

Kied is the distributor. there is no shop front. Bought a few items from him before, usually i would visit his place or we would meet somewhere for the transaction.

 

I am looking for a neck brace now. keen in getting the leatt neck brace adventure as i am on budget. any reviews so far?
