oh den maybe it's just a cold engine.

u check the temperature on ur screen guage.

if it says 'cold', that means you need to warm ur engine...

Press the ignition longer to warm up the engine...

The manual suggest pressing the ignition for '10 secs', but i think that's a bit long....

same thing as i told u in my last pm to u.

Use the choke lever, press the ignition for a longer period of time den turn the throttle. (rav up to at least 6000rpm....) Remember to close the choke once the engine has started running or the choke will cause the engine to 'die' once again.

last note... watch ur batt level k?

yeah thanks bro.. i'll try to press the ignition longer.. ohh the choke cant use liao cos the lever is broke.. just now i itchy hand push whats left of the lever den cant close it. engine die off when idle.. use hammer n knock back whahahahha

Hi guys, anyone of you got jack? I want to clean and lube my chain :cheeky:

The problem is not you can afford it or not, is how are you going to make yourself able to afford it.

Don't need a jack.

Get one guy to lift the bike slightly on the sidestand. PULL it up from the left side... don't push it from the right... wait drop.

U get behind the bike, use your right hand to rotate the tyres, and your left to spray.

yeah, it will die when the engine is idle....

Suggest you cover the bike at night so that the rain won't get in...

also, suggest that you fix the choke.

I seem to use it everyday for an easy start.

good luck!

Run start the bike. Don't hold the ignition down.

If the engine is cold, and you don't have a choke, chances are, no matter how long you crank, it may not start. And at worst, you end up with a drained battery.

Engage 2nd gear, clutch in, start running with the bike.

Hang on to your handlebars tightly... covering the brake with right hand. Throw the clutch and when you hear the engine crank a bit, twist that throttle and at the same time clutch in.

Once the engine starts, brake, and then mount the bike. Ride off happily.

It's not as difficult. I remember pushing start a Super 4 when the battery drained.... :giddy: Now THAT'S heavy....

run/push start my bike???

*lol....

kill me now....

It's actually quite dangerous to do it alone....

ur bike will move n u might not be 'skilled' enough to jump on.

be wary.

Full face helmet best to get the conventional chin strap with double rings.

Those quick-release types are convenient, but in a crash, they may snap off.

You wear a full-face helmet for maximum protection, why compromise on the strap?

Wearing a full-face with a plastic clip for the chin strap is like driving a souped up powerboat with a wooden rudder. All that protection has to work together in tandem. Not alone.

You dont have to jump onto your bike after you push start it. I had to push start my baby after her battery died. My first time I push start, I didnt need a very long running distance, I didnt have to jump onto the bike. After that, I found it so fun I actually did it a few more times just for the lark of it... (and to practice for emergencies again in future)

Didnt even work up a sweat after I practised push starting a couple of times.

Come for the DIY Session 3 and I'll demo for you guys....

heh heh...

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

to adjust chain, u'd need a car jack, a 26mm hex spanner, a 10mm c spanner and a 11mm c spanner, real easy job.

change sprockets isn't so easy. breaking the master link of the chain is probably the hardest part if don't have the right tools.

Better to be loved, than to hate...
