Eddy and macarena,

I'm feeling the pinch of the economic downturn so I'll be cutting down on track days and will be doing more cycling to build up for that 1x Good Track Day. Been feeling a little weary after track sessions, which points to the drop in my fitness from the lack of cycling.

My RS is in serious need of:

- new clutch plates

- new brake pads

- fork & rear shock rebuild

- new M3 tires

- new gear balancers

Cycling is, however, FREE. Am looking forward to X-country at Bukit Timah or laps at Changi Coast Road.

Will be in town 24-25Feb. Let me know which day is good for you.

:)

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

Lawrence/Daniel,

Am in BKK for work on 24th and 25th.

But my rough cycling schedule as follows:

I ride MTB on Sat mornings at 8am in Bukit Timah or trails in that area. Meeting places vary depending on trails we want to do. Drop me a message and i will let you know where we meet. We also do Ubin occasionally.

Weeknights, i typically ride Changi coast on my road bike. Most of the guys train 3 to 4 days a week. Start at 8.30pm, expo bus stop. But due to work committments, I usually only get to ride once or twice every other week (explains why i get dropped so often). Again, message me when you wanna ride.

Hi Quikslvr,

Dean only makes Titanium bikes. Ti bikes are deemed "timeless" and is said to last a lifetime. If i am not mistaken, they are all handmade in the USA (that was a few years back, not sure if its still the case). They are also known for their relatively more comfortable ride due to more flexible chainstays (as compared to aluminium/carbon bikes)

Are you looking for a road bike or a mountainbike? Feel free to drop me a note if you are looking for a bicycle. Can definitely help you in that avenue.

Edmund

im lookin for a mountainbike.thinkin of doin weekend trail/x-country watever u call it.also sometimes i wanna cycle to work which is juz 10mins away on my RS.

haha... There's plenty more. Those are just the bikes I've ridden before. Most of my friends get a new frame every 2-3yrs so I get to 'test' their bikes.

I highly recommend Scott, Gary Fisher, Schwinn, and KHS if you're on a budget. And whenever you're ready to get a 1st hand bike, I can bring you to a few of my regular bike shops I patronise.

Just FYI, the Scout frame is listed at US$1,750 on the DEAN webby. (http://www.deanbikes.com/mountain/scout/scout.htm)

Eddy, DEAN had aluminum frames before 2000 I think. It was somewhere around that time that they stopped production of aluminum frames and focused specifically on titanium frames. My first bike was in 1996 and it was a Dean aluminum 'Oscar' model with a Y-wishbone chainstay.

Dean still makes one of the finest frames around from the most advanced materials, they're like the Enzo of Ferrari, the R of Ducati, and the Skunkworks of Northrop Grumman.

my budget is less than 1k.are those 4 names u mention if brand new more than 1k?

nice seeing macerena and lawrence at 2nd link after ur tracking..

and hearing u guys remembering me touched me further..

:shy:

take care and have fun...

When you have walked my path of pain and suffering

you will understand my need for revenge and to inflict pain on those who have betrayed me

As a scorpion bides its time to strike so shall I wait for that moment to obtain my vengeance

And my mocking laughter shall be the last thing they hear. In The End, We Remember Not The Words Of Our Enemies, But The Silence Of Friendships
