People mention irresponsible riding and suddenly everyone flips out instead of doing a little bit of self-reflection. lol

 

Was @ T3 changi airport last night. While leaving the place for the Changi north corners, the throttle 'died'..

 

Open throttle and nothing happened.. As in, it didnt propel the bike forward at all.. Engine still running, lights, signals starter all still working.

 

When I stopped along the SH, tried starting the bike took some time, then I took the time to look at my RPM when I start moving again.. As I hit 8k, same thing happen again. But when yag tried the bike at changi, nothing happened..

 

I have no idea what's causing this problem of mine

 

I've encountered this problem before but I cant say for certain that it's the same cause for your bike. Mine was due to a defective fuel tank cap which let water into the fuel tank, even in drizzles. Water pools at the bottom of the carburetor float bowl and caused the revs to either die or stagnate.

 

I might be doing a DIY tomorrow, 25 Feb. PM me if you'd like to drop by. I can take a look at your carb. I cannot promise I can fix it, but I can take a look to make sure it's ok.

Hello all Aprilia Techies out there..

 

I have a small problem I need advise on.

 

I'm trying to get my biting point closer to the handlebar and have already maxed out the screw on the clutch lever side.

 

Is there by any chance I can further tighten up on the clutch side for cleaner dis-engagement of the clutch?

Yea.. Typically, the latest I finish work is at 10pm. If early still can go home 1st to change. I hate coming out in this boring white long sleeve shirt/pants.

It is make of Stainless Steel w Alu silencer, $650 nei....expensive?! Scare leh... Later also get caught by white-men and get fine also leh.

So...better think carefully oh....it is use for track only leh.

Im experiencin it now .. not much .. gotta change the float bowl gasket lah ..

If the whole floor wet it cld be a cat urine ard ya bike makes u tink its petrol .. quite absurb oledi ..
