If you cannot get free love from them... this is what u do...

To get a smile, sneak up to them from the back...drop one or two gears and open full throttle very close, next to them...give them a shock (people tend to smile when in shock like a monkey in fright), look at ur mirror and you will see them smiling.

To get a wave, use a 2T that is not smokeless. Swing by them and open full throttle again. Look at ur mirror and you will see them waving.

just changed new valve piston and block.

Hey guys....

 

I've got a qns. Just had a top overhaul recently....

 

But there seem to be a prob with my bike. once i engage the 3rd gear onwards....

 

Its seem like there is a somewhat loud humming sound coming from the bike.

 

anyone know wad is wrong with it.?

I had the same prob 2 weeks back. brought it back to mah and they found

 

out the piston was scratched on one side needed to change a new one.

 

Lucky my barrel was fine.... =)

 

But not sure wadswrong with yours....

Dont buy the speedo gear, so exp n waste money. I sell you my Sigma Digital speedo meter. Accurate, small and no restriction to your front wheel moment. $40 want?:angel:

Question: Can 03 model forks fit onto the replica? Any issues with fitting the speedo gear? Or do i have to use the 03 model speedo gear? Which in turn leads the question, do i have to change my clocks to the 03 model? Any difference?

if u want to fit 03 speedo gear then u have to use its front rim and fork . . . dashboard and speedo cable will remain the same . . .

btw nw aday all these new malay RS rider(no offence to those malay), think they very rich.. ride the bike give one look lidat.. that kind of look that says, i got money to buy this new aprilia u got anot..?

according to aprilia.com:

 

Carburettor: The 21 kW RS 125 (sold on the German market) is still equipped with a Dell’Orto PHBH 28 carburettor and is homologated to Euro 2 standard.

 

Fuel system: Dell’Orto VHST 28.

 

so the restricted version or so called semi-efi carbs are the VHST 28?
