Anyone interested to get Aprilia apparel?

I've picked up a few items when I was in Manchester yesterday.

Was at the store to buy some Aprilia spare parts cheaply (GBP$63 for a powervalve = S$180!) when I saw the line-up for Aprilia apparel. They will be launched next week.

You can check out the catalogue here.

The items I have are:

1. Key Ring - AP8720102

2. Patch - AP8720104

3. Neck Strap - AP8720106

4. Red Baseball Cap - AP8720108

5. Black Baseball Cap - AP8720109

6. Shoulder Bag - AP8720059

7. Backpack - AP8720112

8. Hoodie White (Size L) - 894386

Will be giving away 2 Aprilia keychains (round instead of square; not featured in the catalogue) together with a Shoulder Bag or Backpack. These were given to me with my purchases, at no extra charge.

I've only got a few pieces of each so PM me early for pricing. Let me know if you want to view them.

Cheers!

Yar lor.. wif da thing on his backseat, on da way back on 2nd link still can blast past mi at 100+kmh... racing spirit.. hehe!!

hahahaha

no la.

Where got as fast as you!! Still cant figure out where i went wrong on that turn!

From memory, seems that i lost the front, but based on a few conversations and research i have been doing, that is only possible if a lot of horsepower kicks in (which isnt possible on my bike) and if the fork bottoms out (ie there is too much load on the fork... Hmmm...

Thanks Ragna and Macan for helping me strap the stuff back!

Good luck. Sounds like a dry seizure due to lack of lubrication. Seizure is seizure. I don't know why people like to say jam. Maybe it reminds them of food. Or maybe they like pissing me off with f*cked up English.

LOL. This is hilarious

Welcome back Lawrence.

Then head into JB once in awhile. Go Ah Gua Lane and get them to wash your bike. RM$10 for wash and wax. Not bad too.. I just prefer to clean it myself since I have this buffing machine for the wax. Bike on side stand, my gloves will slide off if I leave it on the tank. :D

Titanium? Sounds good. Is it still legal? How much does it cost (if you happen to know)

Ebay sg, usa or uk?

Go JB wash is cheap, but I'm too lazy to go that far 4 a bike wash... heee... maybe next time u wash then i go ur place wash 2gether la, hehe... ur buffing machine sounds nice leh...:cheeky:

Heard in Tampines got one guy wash bike for 15 bucks. Nvr tried b4.

E arrow titanium is e new pipe lauched not long ago, not sure if it is legal, but read quite good n e shape is v nice. u can see e pic a few pages back. i posted one already.

Any bro knows if it is legal?

The exhaust valve, also known as the powervalve, opens at 8,000-8,125 rpm onwards.

To prevent carbon build-up, you need a lean A/F mixture.

When I used to run a very lean mix, I can forget about cleaning my powervalve for months without it seizing. To date, I also haven't changed my spark plug for more than 15 months and counting *shiok!*

Please refrain from blipping the throttle before killing the engine. There is absolutely no mechanical benefits to be reaped from this stupid habit, regardless the reason.

I've rode 06 model for 2 yrs, not sure abt e rpm for e 05 model or older. This did work on my bike. Initially I have 2 clean my vlv every 2000km or so, now I 4000km then clean once 2gether with e carb n change gear oil.

No obligation. Jus wan 2 share my experience. N do pls correct me if I brought in e wrong idea n mislead new riders.

I don't see how this sort of riding makes a difference. Please explain technically rather than relying on butt dynos. If I 'feel' that my bike is faster when I add certain 'enhancers' to it, does it really mean it is truly faster? The only way to test it is a blind test. Or a placebo test. Or something scientific with a constant so you can control the variable inputs and measure the differences.

Sorry, but I am a psychic skeptic.

I run a lean premix (1:75 baby!!! woohoo!!) so I never have to worry about 2T inconsistency. Its always the same, perfectly proportionate throughout the throttle range, and rev range. WOT and you get more 2T with more petrol, 1/4 throttle and you get less 2T to less petrol, all in perfect proportions.[/Quote]

Thx bro 4 ur very detailed explaination. I'll be more careful if I'm going 2 share anything here. I only recently started 2 know my bike, uesed 2 be very lazy... N i did want 2 know more abt this bike n do more DIYs in future coz found e mechanics here sometimes really anyhow do e bike. Willing t learn from u if got time n will 2 share.

4 my bike I didn't premix e 2T, I use e 2T pump n feel e 2T is always rich n also afraid if too lean it might cause e seizure. No experiece of adjust e flow rate. Wondering if u could help. Thx in advance.

Hey bro, how long more will u be in UK?

My 06 RS125 e rear brake found ineffecient once i applied e brake. Accordding 2 e mechanic is e rear master cylinder internal seal worn. We took it out n had a phsical check. But here in Sing only Mah has e item n ask for 270SGD+ without installation. N e revolution kit (e internal seal plus e spring assembly) is not avail in e market for e 06 model. We've tried e 05 model rev. kit but it doesn't fit. I wrote 2 Aprilia also no reply... What I feel it's big waste to buy e whole cylinder jus because of e seal worn...

Any bro has any idea how 2 solve e problem? Or any bro want e housing? :goodluck:

In e Ultimate catalogue shows e rear master cylinder is 77.41GPB. E brake light switch is 9.59 GPB. Wondering if u could buy me one each n i pay u?

If not then 4get it ,I'll arrange with them 2 ship in. Thx a lot bro.

Any bros wanna buy parts? Maybe we could buy 2gether?

Always do some homework first. Look it up and have some info. That's how I started out - with zero knowledge. After buying tuning and maintenance books from Amazon and reading them in detail, I now know just a little more about my bike. But there's always someone who knows more than we do.

The internet helps by providing free knowledge. Chain cleaning is a headache but not if you have a paddock stand! :D You're welcome to borrow my stand if you'd like to.

Am intending to do an extended DIY soon. Carb wash and tune, and bike cleaning. I haven't cleaned my bike in 3 years. heh heh...

APRILIA SHOULDER BAG AP8720059

Very nice.. How much?

If less then GBP20, help me buy!

Have already bought it.

Just to clarify, I was in Manchester, so dropped by the shop to get parts but they didn't have many things I needed. These are the accessories that are available in the shop. As they have not yet been officially launched, the quantity is limited.

Below is the list of items and the quantity I purchased.

1. Key Ring - AP8720102 - 2 pc

2. Patch - AP8720104 - 2 pc

3. Neck Strap - AP8720106 - 2 pc

4. Red Baseball Cap - AP8720108 - 3 pc

5. Black Baseball Cap - AP8720109 - 3 pc

6. Shoulder Bag - AP8720059 - 2 pc

7. Backpack - AP8720112 - 2 pc

8. Hoodie White (Size L) - 894386 - 1 pc

I don't want to sit on the items for too long so if response is not good I'll simply sell them in local online classifieds.

As I have mentioned, I was given 2 pieces of the round key ring FOC which I'll give away to the first 2 buyers of either the shoulder bag or backpack.

IZECUBEZ, PM-ed you the price list. Also, I have placed the order for your parts. The shop did not have them in stock.

Cheers!
