Downsizing to a 428 or 415 chain only has benefits, very little downside.

 

Was just out with tknge today, and had a short discussion on this. As far as I know, you save on weight, and it's cheaper to change the chain if you do it frequently. Smaller parts also mean less friction.

 

Larger bikes cannot use smaller chains as it may snap from the power, but for our toy bikes, they are perfectly fine.

 

I am changing to a 428 myself for my next chain and sprocket change.

Please change both ASAP if the chain cannot be tightened further.

 

Old tires cannot wait, and neither can loose chains.

 

Loose chains can slip off the rear sprocket, just as dangerous as skidding.

Tried calling you a few times and got no answer.

 

Was a long day at FM yesterday. Met Subzero there (btw vik, just 5 minutes after you left, Ah Seng was done with the super4 :D), then redx popped by, then along comes wawan to pick up his bike (finally) and blasted since she needed to return the gloves back to lawrence.

 

Speaking of which, Lawrence, your gloves are with me. Since I need to meet up with you to pick up the bag, Blasted left it with me.

Lawrence, when will u be holding the D.I.Y session? My bike power dipped quite alot already and i highly suspect the carbs are dirty.. (plus Faizal also very busy nowadays so can't drop by conveniently)

My bike needs a tune-up. how bout now?

 

Fadil is on his way over. Wash carbs, tune jets, wash bike. I have kick-ass cleaner - S100

 

Will likely start at 5plus pm.

 

Either at void deck, or my neighbourhood multi-storey carpark. Can charge bike battery there too... heh heh
