Not a top overhaul, but a full one. Was already time for it to get a good fix on the engine. Changing to a new piston, piston ring, conrod, conrod bearings, along with gaskets, oil seals and whatever that needs replacing. Too bad I spent abit too much before I sent it in for service. Now I gotta wait till July's salary before I can pay up the full amount.

 

Will be paying slightly below 1k for everything. :)

Aiseyman... Heart pain huh.. But worth the while though. Engine will be as good as new!! :p

anyway , whose on pirelli tyres?

 

those are compound tyres right?

 

mine feels very hot and sticky after the ride, lots of sands and nonsense sticking on it.

 

any reviews ?

Oooh... I understand how u feel.. I was without bike for half a year when some dude crashed my ride. Bus rides and MRT... :faint:

Since you decided to have a full done-up, make sure you get all the necessary bearings and seals all change. Don't get it half-done as taking apart the whole engine case again is time & money consuming...:thumb:

 

Can do me a favour? Pls help me to take down the series no. of all bearings & seals and its quantity, OK? I need a reference. :angel:

Plan 2 change to Rosso

Yes. silica compound

it's gd, warm up fast n sticky

shiok, traction n grip is gd, oso in wet

is ur bike the same paintwork as ur siggy? coz last sat saw 1 06 with the rossi paintwork

hmmm. your bike is blue colour one ?? i went FM yesterdae and saw 1 bike there... ah seng say doing overhauling.. :):)

Were u at paya lebar near caltex sitting on the ledge..? With the y2k Aprilia..?o_O Cos i thought i saw u at a glance, but couldn't be sure... :( So sorry as i was rushing home from Lawrence's place after washing carbs. And yup, my colors is the same as my siggy. :sweat:

haha thats me.i saw u zooming past.whoa unique paintwork i thought to myself.was waiting for my fren while she make a police report there.bloody hell make me waited for more than an hour. :faint:
