A friend of mine ordered it online. He used it once at PG, then wanted to upgrade to an R6. So he got some parts to sell off his '06 RS, and the valve was one of them. After knowing the plus and minus points of the valve, i bought it from him at $500. :angel:

 

Oooh... 3 months never service huh. U riding your bike daily? :)

yeah its my daily bike.anyway my commute frm home to work is juz 10 mins away so i guess its not a hardcore riding.dats y it can still holdup haha

Ouh quite nearby ok lah.. my travelling distance is about 20min.. So it's kinda scary if anything happens to my bike when i'm on the highway. Hehehe... :p

It is bolted directly into the exhaust valve port, with a hole specially drilled into the cylinder block to allow combustion gases to push on a rubber bladder inside the RAVE 2 unit to open the power valve, hence the term 'pneumatic valve' - also dubbed 'air' valve by local mechanics. (It's driven by air and due to lack of vocabulary since most of these mechanics lack education)

 

Spring load is adjustable so it might need some tweaking to get the valve to operate effectively at the right pressure.

i werk at peninsular plaza....but most of the time im at the airport ar...

kalau takot dipukol ombak...jgn beli rumah di tepi pantai...

Apparently the AGIP gearoil is being sold at Raceworkz for $28..

yeah.. i cant reveal where i got it cos of some issues. AGIP dealer had caused my deal to collapse wit the shop as we had said where we got it from. But no worries i manage to get it online.

Are we getting it at $28 or cheaper bro?

 

I cant believe Raceworkz are selling it cheaper than our so called 'good price' from the dealer if we buy in bulk.
