hei all.. i juz went down to biketech 21.. i don know did u all asked or wat but it is confirmed by the uncle tt the arrow pipe for RS125 is road legal n its coming!!!!! maybe u all all know le la.. hahaa... but the uncle say cost ard $650 which is super ex right? i don know... but he say if we gather order n buy together can get special price... yarh.. think u all all know le la.. juz reminding or in case some don know.. hope its useful....

bro old news lah... seriuosly we hear of it coming so many times liao. anyone wana buy it first ? i noe i cant cos mine rs250. my bet is dat it will only be passable to 03 bikes and above. 95, 97, 98 bikes no chance unless he prove me wrong.

but strangely it's been like a few weeks after the SBF anniversary where we met the boss of biketeck 21 and it's the same thing we're listening.. that arrow will be approve in a few weeks time...

 

if 03 which is using the Rotax 122 engine is approved, i think some of the older ones which are using the same engine should be approved as well..

Very ulu, twisty, with skewed gradients of sorts...

if you have followed the thread and read some of the earlier postings..

you should know which is the few decent shops that we Aprilians send our bike to...

it's usually Ideal, located at Kaki Bukit Road 1 and First Motor located at Ubi Industrial Park vicinity. I brought it to Pang's Scooter at Bukit Merah Industrial Park.

 

Can you tell us rougly what are the problems that your bike is having??

If not, mayb you can give Servo a call and he'll glad to help you. Can find his no. on the Aprilia Owners' List. Do leave down your no. as well.

i brought my bike to the bike shop where i first bought it...just got it back yesterday

but the condition was far from ideal, the initial problem was dying of engine whenever i up to 3rd gear & above...the techncan say he fixed that liao by changing the pistol...dunno how true is that though. but he was reminding me not to speed for the first few hinudreds kilometer yet... anyway, now the engine tends to comes to a halt (dying) whenever i drop a gear (i.e.from 4th gear to 3rd gear) or stop at first gear. i was wondering whether was it the clutch plate problem instead...and are sick of hearing his c*** & bull stories...

this is a jetting problem. if your piston spoil, u will not be able to start liao

 

idling spd or idling mixture is cocked up

haf u checked ur choke cable?

 

bring to somewhere else do la, those that eyez recommended

yah i think it's the jetting problem too.. if yah free today in the late noon.. i'll my bike shop at bukit merah.... or Ideal tml..

meanwhile.. listen to the mech's advice for not speeding.. he might had really changed the piston.. on the other hand.. when i changed my piston, i just whacked it and run in the hard way.. but you're not advise to do likewise... i'll not be responsible for any piston seizure if you are to encounter one..

hi there! my bike also just went for an overhaul. but after the overhaul, the fuel consumption went up like crazy.... full tank can only go the max 74 km.... can anyone help me.....

other than overhaul, what else did you change?? big bore?? porting?? super huge carb??

74km, for a full.. that's like 1 litre for 7km... champion ah!!

 

by the way, which shop did you bring it to???

yah guys, take note of the my previous post tat regarding Pang's Scooter. Only send to Ah Ken if you wanna to bring your bike to that shop. He's the only mechanic recognised by my friends and I. Other people than him, I can't guarantee a good job and definitely not the price.

NEXT outing end of Feb, as Jan and early Feb have a lot of festives cuming ( Hari raya haji, Chinese new year and of course Valentine) we let all of ya enjoy your time with your love ones first......but then again we shall inform at least 2 weeks prior to the meeting. soudns like its too extreme to be a jetting problem

 

either somethings broke somwhere...like (from least expensive )

 

fuel line leaking

fuel tank broken

carburetor float spoil

carburetor float valve(somethign like dis la) spoil

carburetor leaking

 

or the jettign is realy way off....

is the engine responsive?

seem quite fun the previous few outing ....

too bad i was on duty while u guys hab those outing ..

 

aniwae ,

i just send my bike for overhual , the tupid crankshalf made my bike realli too dangerous to ride ....

gonna cost me around 1.8 k for everything ,

crankshalf ,pistons ,clutchplates , sparkplugs, engine oil, coolant ,

clutch cables ,throttle cables( tupid rs250 use 4 cables ...),

rebuild rear shock ......

 

im also habing tis problem ,

not sure whether is becos of my battery or wat ,

but when ever i on my headlight and high beam i notice my signals light flashing very very slowing ...

something like not enuff current from battery to substain the amount of output

to my bike , quite worried as i noe if battery is weak it will affect yr powervalve

too...

 

 

hope u guys can enlighten me wat jetting to use since im overhualing now.

i tink my last setting was a 275, 260, full tank around 160km ....

im looking at amore responsive engine and low end to mid range .

any recommendation from u guys ? :confused:

i got a 34 mm carb.

 

other than that all normally. the engine is a bit slow response unless i push the rpm to 4k and above... i disrestricted my CDI already.

 

i did my overhaul at Hua Chin Motor Service Shop which is at Bukit Batok....

 

they also cant fount wat is the problem....
