hmm if you google it... you should get the info.... but anyways, KNN this a brand that does filter for cars & bikes....

There are many kinds of intake, thus different kinds of filter....

You can install the airbox filter which is a filter that is in your stock airbox that traps dirty stuff.. Usually aftermarket filter offers better airflow than stock...

You also have a choice of cone filter... Which looks like a "pod" usually that replaces the whole airbox.... Which you also can change for your bike if they produce....

So basically when we talk about the filter its the intake of the bike.... There are also other aftermarket brands e.g Pipercross that does filter and they do produce for our bikes...

Hey brother!! Must take good care of my bike ok :).

I think you just got to get used to the clutch and high rev ( about 3-4K) for 1st gear. I encountered this problem too and I thought it was issue with the egine and clutch plates. This is why I got piston+ rings and clutch replaced at unique.

Do a search on the web and you will see that most people have this common problem. Not really a problem but to get use to it. I was ok and able to fully use the clutch to move at slow speed in heavy traffic. Just remember to keep rev up to above 3k. RS125 no power at low rev.

Yup. The bike is real fun to ride now.

Got the bike checked by teck thye (nearest to my place) as recommended by the guys here. Found out that the gasket used is too thick, causing low compression in the engine. replaced it and everything is running perfect now.

Just got to do up the suspensions once my exam is over. Anyway, i am enjoying the bike now especially during 8k+ rpm. Love the sound during the power range.

Thanks for the deal.

Hahaha... The guys here who did replace their airbox mostly if not all, changed to Pipercross.. I went for K&N for a period of time. The sound it produced is so much nicer even with a stock exaust. I am still wondering how well it would perform with a nice exaust system.

Downside was that I was getting very poor f/c.. Getting around 14km/litre. But the pull I get with 34mm + K&N was terrific.

Maybe next time I'll try my best to tune the carb nicely with the K&N just to go on track..

Well i got it serviced at Unique and it only show how good their workmanship is. Did I tell you that they poke holes in the new air filter because they didn't know how to tune it back? I am glad I sold it to you as I know you will know how to take good care of it :)

I am already missing the bike :( Wish you all the best for your exam and meet up for kopi when you are free.

Hi everyone,

I've just checked the forum regulations, and as stipulated I have moved the Aprilia Parts Order List to the Mass Order Section. It is still pending approval from mods but once it is approved it should appear there.

Please post in the Mass Order section for any future orders or our posts here will mysteriously disappear again (without PM nor any sort of courtesy notification)... hahahaha

And for those of us who has reposted the list here, we'll have to remove those posts.

Thank you!

Do note that I have used the updated list so you guys don't have to be troubled to repost your list... :giddy:

er... airbox is the black box when you lift the fuel tank you will see it.....

Air filters looks like your stock airbox filter.... they are suspose to trap dirty stuff.... Aftermarket air filters are made of better quality and better airflow compared to stock....

Most of us run the airbox without the air filter.... Some of the riders here uses cone filter as well which replaces the whole airbox....

Anyone who needs parts feel free to piggyback.

Shipping is expensive cos PJ and other Europe websites use Priority Shipping which is the most expensive (but fastest) shipping service. So the bigger the order, the less everyone pays.

Late / partial payment will not be entertained.

Only orders that have full payment will be placed.

Additional costs like shipping and any fluctuations in currency exchange on the date of order (8 Dec) will be updated and must be paid upon collection of items.

PM me for my address and mobile number.

Once the transfer of funds have been made, SMS me in the following format:

Nick. Name. Your bank account number. Amount transferred.

Eg. lacrimosae. Lawrence. 153-18587-5. S$149.06

I may not be in Singapore when you SMS me so I may reply you anywhere between 1-24 hours. if I do not reply up to 24 hours, do not be alarmed. Just SMS me again. I will check my account and once the account numbers and figures match, I will reply you to confirm that I have received your payment.

Please remember that I am doing you a favour, so I will appreciate it if you do your own homework, ie. check out the website; parts availability; call PJ (Angela/ Luke) or Ultimate Parts (Martin) yourself for more information (I am not your concierge); do your own sums (includes currency conversion); and pick up your items from my home (either after it arrives, or during the DIY).

A DIY session will follow the next order, so that purchasers can fit their items on the spot.

Please also note that while I have spent many years tuning my own bike, I respectfully decline tuning carburetors for anyone due to liability issues. I can teach you how to change your jets, and how to fine-tune it. But I will not physically work on your bike.

Same reason for DIY- I will advise and assist, but you must Do It Yourself.

It's like packing your own parachute. Only you will do the best job with it.

If you want to treat me like your slave, I suggest you bring your maid along.

updated :) cheers

I have delayed the orders until they are approved by the mods in the Mass Order Section.

To hell and back apparently. Have yet to read the crap that's been posted the past few months. Not sure if it's worth my time to read.

When is the MO going to be put up? Checked the damn MO section today, still not there. Sheesh.

I posted it on the 27 Feb.

It takes a while for the moderators to vet through PMO/CMO posts before they approve it and it appears on the MO Section. Just be patient.

The last time I posted on the GoPro HD camera, it took 3-4 days before it was approved and appeared as a new thread.

Give the mods some time. I'm sure they have a lot on their hands too.

Next time meet up i'll pass u Chung's CDi. Doesn't click with my bike this time. Haiya.. :(

That's because your cylinder is stock. I have asked PJME about Chung's CDI and they have confirmed that it is only for Stage 3 bikes with port timings changed.

It won't work with any of our bikes here, including those bikes' cylinders ported by local 'unorthodox' mechanics. hahaha

Catch up with you all when I'm back from Japan later today.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Haha... I think u must've mistaken it for the HPi CDi dude. The one i was referring to was his original CDi. Feels diff when i slotted his that time off seletar dam. :)

Anyways, thanks for the info dude. I almost wanted to buy it from a local dealer. If i had bought, will surely cry my eyes out!! (cos the money can be use to do other stuff for my bike) :faint:

Hi Guys, Help!!

I just changed my RS250 battery less than a month ago. And today when I start the bike after 1wk of non usage. my LCD screen & neutral light is gone. But I still managed to start up the bike though. the clock is all reset and the volt meter reading is @ 8V. I went for a few rds and the volt reading went up to 12V, but once I stop @ a red light, the reading went back to 8V again. So now, its jumping frm 8 - 12V readings. and when I turn off the engine and switch back again, the LCD meter and neutral light is still off. Need to start the engine b4 I can see anything, any idea what went wrong?

The spare coolant reservoir @ the back seat is also empty. The mechanic says it's all right to ride now, cos that is only a spare tank. I tried to refill with water and its empty again, think its leaking, is it all right to ride still? :(
