It shows you that the valve is working, and it's not jammed. You should feel a boost in acceleration upon valve opening.

Sounds like a turbo spooling.... its good! hahaha jk.. I also have that sound but I think its alright ba... if you wanna be sure just go First Motor and ask the mechanic whats the sound really about... also tell me what he says... cause mine also have that whistling sound but I kinda don't bother it because it did'nt give any problems.... haha

nope... you are safe to drag to 10.5k.... normally I ride below 8k cause I don't like the sound unless I am rushing or something I ride around 9k++.. I rarely hit 10 n above....

Hi, I need help. I bought brand new rs 125, the bike is 3 mths old with 7000+ km. After the bike reach 6000+ km the bike got this annoying ticking sound when I open throttle, the valve open n there's annoying sound as if there's sand inside the valve.

 

I went to Mah pte Ltd and complaint. He said that my piston ring wear off, and tell me that it is normal. Take note that when I only throttle, it have that annoying sound.

 

To me, it's bullshit off what Mah pte Ltd explained as it didn't make any sense. Hard to believe, that's why I'm posting this for opinion.

 

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Yea. Barely 2 months old, titantium endcan Arrow full system. Street Legal. Going for $600 plus swap with your stock exhaust. Minor damage to end can where it connects the the header.

 

Brand new retails for about $750-$780 depending on which shop you buy from.

guess u r complaining abt the 'flatspot' which i was complaining

earlier in the forum..

 

i also got tt irritating noise when open throttle at abt

5.5k to 6k..but now i like used to it la..so not to worry..get used to it bro..

A good idling rpm would be around 1.25-1.5k rpm

Get it adjusted if its not.

 

Go look for ah seng to get the carb setting right... Knew a person who had the same problem. After went to FM, everything ok already. And wash valve too just in case..

Typically, its this knob or a screw on the right side of the bike. Its the one nearer to the top.
