jus installed my legal arrow today...

jus wondering why my low and mid end not as good as before but high end better than last time...

the noise is super loud .... louder than previously operated milo.. i wondering tommorrow inspection how to pass????? any one free to bring me to ideal to do setting tommorrow????

pick up verry strong if open valve from gear1 then drag all the gear till red line.. very fun.... but if change gear at 6.5k rpm and below then pick up like sh*t,loss of mine low and mid range power ..the engine not as responsive as before for lower and mid rpm range... now mine is a total high rev bike... going to do tuning and setting then try again..

starting to worry abt mine fuel consumption liao cos every time open valve.. think wallet will grow thinner and thinner this month...:cry: :giddy:

Typical symptom for Arrow pipes...

 

This is because Arrow only improves top end, but there is a trade-off in low end and midrange.

Come on guys, you cant expect the best of both worlds.

 

Remember Arrow is meant for racing. Which means that its designed for optimal performance on a race track at very high revs.

Do you have traffic lights on a race track?

On track your bike is pushing close 9,000-12,000 rpm all the time. It rarely goes below that because you dont have to stop for traffic lights.

 

The expansion chamber of the Arrow gives it its power at high rev, but you lose a lot of torque for low to mid range because of the size of the chamber.

 

Be prepared to have your mileage halved and your 2T consumption upped as well. You'll be burning a helluva lot more fuel and lube. My mileage dropped from 21km/L to 12km/L.

I have to top up a full 1litre bottle of 2T every 10 days.

 

We'll see about Thurs.... Prob can make it.

Counter steering is quite a no-brainer once you get the hang of it. Screw the physics, just do it and enjoy it.

 

I suggest you try Unil-Opal's top racing grade of 2T to see how well it burns. I'm using it myself and the performance is drastically better. Even the pitch of the engine is much higher, cleaner. You seriously need something to protect your engine at those high revs. It'll defo allow you to service the valve muchb easier and less often, as I've already found that out.

once valve open rpm can shot very fast to red line 12k plus and the rush:smile: :smile:

i thinking of getting a aprilia fu plate replica cost mi ard 2.6k ...dunno whether can buy anot ,i very new to the motocycle industry juz got my lisc recently onli can anyone give mi some advice.
