When you change your digital display to the clock mode, has the time been reset?

 

If time is not reset, wiring in ignition switch/barrel is loose. Just need to open the bottom and solder the inside.

 

If time is reset, there is a short-circuit in the wiring elsewhere that's cutting power to the main harness. This is not good.

 

Mine is the first. now i dunno how to get out without having the bike to die on me.. i dun mind if the route to the main road is flat and clear where i can slowly push the bike out to the main road.. BUT it's like the dirt track here.. with soft soil after the rain, and heavy vehicles entering and exiting without any lookout to small fries on the road.. asking for a tow man to come is also troublesome as i dun have an address to my site office, only a lot no.

i just realised the latter situation happened to me aft reading your post. damn.

a few posts back, i said smth abt trouble starting my bike due to the bad weather these few weeks.

when i did finally manage to start my bike, the digital clock reset-ed.

but the display showed the word "c o l d" before resetting.

so i presumed that it was normal during cold starts.

it happened twice as my engine died aft starting the first time.

 

fortunately, it only happened that time, and my bike is starting well these few days.

i think i need to service my bike real soon =(

I have that before.. and shortly after i had a flat battery.. i think my case is just the psycological effect of wanting to give her up... or maybe my bike is having PMS.. I might just give it a good tip top service and hand it over to whoever is good enuff to its second owner..

Hello... just came back to singapore after a long spell overseas. Is there an alternative to Mah if I'm looking to buy an RS125 brand new?

 

And what's the going interest rate for loans. 4? 4.5? 5? (depends on the length of loan?)

sadly.. unwillingly... after much thought... eversince i didn't quite enjoy the long trips riding.. I'm gonna hold on as much as i can... 2 more weeks.. probably a month more.. and then.. we shall go for a good spin... dancing in the rain.. and will see if one's true love's kiss will kill the spell..
