And how do you know its normal? have a mechanic look at it? have you inspected it yourself throughly?

im not sure what coolant is in my bike right now.

have not topped up since i got the bike.

its whatever the prev owner was using.

 

Regardless the coolant, there should always be a temperature reading.

 

A 'COLD' reading when the valve is open suggests that there is a fault in the electrical system, particularly the temperature pickup from the temp sender in the cylinder head to the wiring harness and digital readout.

 

A fault could have developed anywhere along this section of the system. Something might be loose and could be nudged out of place by strong vibrations, severing the connection when your valve is open.

 

Either the wire which senses the change to resistance to the contact point at the temp sender is disconnected/frayed/broken, or the connection to the main harness or digital display is sketchy.

Btw, mr Ize.. the sepang trip.. my side, will be a ultra short trip.. sat at noon then go KL, sleep over future BIL house (25mins away from Sepang), sunday watch then go home liao.. But now... vehicle not sure how we are going liao.. might be car might be van.. might be bus also.. now even I am blur with the arrangement right now.. bf wants someone else to drive and be the back-up driver only, because i've bullied him and made him drive for 15hours..

on sat nite when my sub rider took my bike out, he accidently hit on a

sharp big rock on AYE towards kepple..he was not able to avoid the rock also.

so my front tire hit on the rock.and my tire bust..the worst thing is tt my rim also dent.

 

i send my bike to hkl today and they trying to convince me to get a new tire..well.all i wan to know here now is,

if current tire can be used after a patch applied to it..uno the rubber thing they wil poke inside when there is a hole in a tire...here is a picture of which part of my tire has a hole.

 

this tire can use the patch and ride with no prob again rite??

The hole in the tyre seems pretty big and also the hole is at the side wall. I do not think that it can be patched. Please get a new tire.

Harrow! Tyres are not like underwear with a hole in the bum. Underwear, you still can patch it up and it wont be a problem (if you're that cheap as to not throw it away and buy a new pair that is ), but if you wanna risk your ass on a tyre like that then nobody is stopping you from doing it.

 

Think for your safety and not for the safety of your WALLET! This kind of things also dun need unker ize to teach you right??

Big hole like that some more at the side. it's best to change tyre. when buying tyres pls check the manufacture date.. make sure not more than 3 yrs.. I have a friend who bought a tyre whom the shop people say brand new... true enuff brand new.. but expired tyre.. no use also..

If your life is cheap, patch the tire, buy a casket for yourself or sub-rider.

 

As for the damages, get your sub-rider to buy a new rim, and new paint job. Replace bar ends, mirror etc.

 

"Don't make your problem my problem". Anything you loan from others, be it a walkman, mobile phone, or vehicle, should be returned in the exact condition it was borrowed in. If damaged, replace it.
