While I concur with your theory, and it is relevant to my personal experiences with airbox and pod filter, I am not at the moment using a pod filter.

 

Mr Subzero, I'm very sorry about that. Have not been up to date with everyone's bike configuration lately. Apologies.

 

My advice would be remove airbox, no pod filter, and just run like that. Optimum power.

 

NO headache for any incompetent mech to fix.

Hi Larry, just to warn you, it may not be so soon... It can only go on when my new fairings arrive. And that may be in October or November. I haven't even got a confirmed date yet.

 

Previous owner is a friend of ours. He let go the bike just after a few months coz it was a lemon.

The dimensions of both expansion chambers are identical since both are manufactured by the same factory, but branded differently at the end of the production line.

 

Only the end can differs in design. Performance is the same.

 

Do be warned that only in here will you be told the truth. If you asked the distributors the same question, they will tell you Arrow and Gianelli are made by different companies. This is to safeguard their own interests.

That's what any smart seller will tell any potential buyer. I prefer to look at it logically. Why sell a wonderful working bike in such a short time after getting it?

Dettol works best i believe. And it leaves such a nice smell after! Wooo, I love it!

 

Alternatively, you can spend $6 to $12 to buy a new plug.

ahhh. . I have no idea how long he got it for in the 1st place, and I didn't ask. . He merely told me he cannot upkeep with the FC of the bike, tats it man. so when i ask if anything else needs my attn on. he told me the coolant needs to be fixed.

 

I have since sent it to Bayi to get the coolant fixed, asked him to take a look @ engine and and piston. . accordingly to him, he has done some servicing on it.

 

So if you know wat happen and its inconvenient for u to tell here, i welcome ur PM so I can get it fixed. . thanks pal. .

no.we like to keep our bikes in pristine showroom condition.we ride it only once a month.

usually when it rains, while i relak under the shelter i'd take out my emery cloth plus some oil + take out my spark plug from beneath the tank and start cleaning just for fun waiting for the rain to stop.

I didnt own the bike and ride it, so I cant comment. But to me personally, I dont think it was in a good condition even when my friend bought it. It's an old and worn out piece of machinery. It needs a loving owner who has the money to fully restore it.

 

What did this Bayi do when he said service the block and piston? He removed them and cleaned them before putting it back? Not much use IMO.

 

It's like washing the genitals of a whore and making it smell good. It's not going to get any tighter when you're banging her right? Same thing. No point service this and that.

 

Change the whole damn thing to brand new and this bike will wonderful. It deserves a new engine, that's when you'll see the power of this machine. So far, I dont think any of the previous owners bothered. It's the same piston getting its ass kicked. Just my assumption, unless someone did do something about it.

If you mean mass outings, we cant afford it. Our bikes are ridiculous expensive to mantain. We're just go for posing.

Just to check.. Every 3k or 5k do svcing ..change oil, plug.. Anything did I miss out ?? And when do you guys do full svcing like piston polishing and stuff ? What else did I miss out in maintaining our bikes ? Pardon my noobness...

Valve svc, gear oil change, check spark plug, wash carbs, tune carbs, check brakepads and tyre pressure, wash and polish bike, buy engine upgrades and cosmetics for the bike, etc..
