I'll definitely need some of your expertise to choose a good bike for me. I'm actually considering an RS125 Replica (8 yr old), at Serangoon Road, selling at 1.8k.

 

Another offer is Atziluth's bike. Y2K edition, going at 2.5k (neg). The condition in the photos look good. Perhaps I'll take a look on Monday (provided I pass my TP! hehe)

thou it may not be as good.. but the price is definitely better.

hey guys, u experinced engine stall in expressway, when u drag/whack ur bike . thursday, i whack along cte, then suddenly, whole bike stall,wheel lock, i thought it was a piston jam`` however, the kick starter totally, can;t kick down. scare is the crank/block,or con rod~~ wonder the price for such stuff~~~any lobang~~i'm running on reserve n my 2t is premix~~i confirm i pour in the rite amount to my petrol..just wondering, wat may cause the jam n wat happened to my bike~~any one know where is the best place to service my 250, any one live around hougang~~wat is a shock tub

Edwin's bike fast becoming legend liao, just like servo's bike, heheh. I'm coming to believe that his fuel consumption is achieved by kung-fu: constantly adjust;test;adjust;test until you get the perfect setting (perfect jetting?).

 

Ah Guan, I confused leh, you mean your full tank last 150km (not 150km/h) before reserve, is it?

 

One of these days it would be useful for us to compile a chart of all of our fuel consumption figures, mods and settings.

 

BTW, the time and place for the Italian bike outing next Sunday seems quite confirmed already, but best to keep checking the meetup's forum thread.

this may be old news but just like to say,that,SHELL really does have longer milage..i cant believe..i thot was just gimmick..i got 2km more per litre..

 

anyway,not my bike also got yee--oorrhh sound..from the rear..dun know where it suddenly came from..was fine in the morning after riding.park.then rest then wanna go out again..then the sound come liao..weird..

Speaking of more efficient fuel: Have any Aprilians tried Broquet or Superione? I know Broquet has been discussed elsewhere in the forum but I'm interested in people who've tried it on Aprilias.

 

I'm sorely tempted to try Superione (I know I know, backside itchy, but what if it works?) cuz it's cheaper than Broquet.

my fuel economy is good but there still room for more improvement... trying to push up to 25-27 km/l from current 22km/l.... :

 

mine is a super DRY weather aprilia.......jus now raining , my spark plug shorted.. :cry: not fun to ride half way in rain and engine die on you..

 

my frd's 1.3 lancer put a superione, magnefuel and a ???device that suck in air direct to engine .. his fc is 15km/l from previous 10km/l for normal driving... its well good for cars... but he himself also dun knoe exactly which device really worked... :confused:
