Dear Friends,

 

Just a friendly advice. I see so many guys spending so much of money on mods nowadays. Make sure you know your priorities.

Pay your instalments on time, it's very embarrassing when you dont pay your instalments for afew months and the tow truck comes to tow your bike away right in front of you. Very sad indeed. I have a friend who has the habit of not paying until the lawyer's notice comes. Bad habit. I heard another mooncake guy also never pay instalments and got his bike towed away in front of him.

 

So please, prioritize and be responsible. Barking dogs never seem to bite. Especially when they're old and worn out. :)

Yep he did a price breakdown I guess its e valve thts costly.. 130 for a 2nd hand one.. And labour was 50.. Yep washed carb also... Where's raptor motorsports anyway? I googled but it just shows Kallang ave ... Kinda dreading on premix but can't find a 2t reservoir anywhere man..

 

You're riding the new model, I dont have. Try searching on http://www.ebay.co.uk or you can approach Liquidy in this forum. He also carries the Original Aprilia valve. Only for $150. :)

Can I know where is this 'ah seng' place that u all have been talking famously? Sorry I'm abit dumb. Haha. And does the workshop carry with them most of the aprilia's spare part? The replica one's to be precise. Thanks.

Thanks for e heads up..nah..mine is a dec06 model...e previous owner cut out e 2t reservoir and it's on premix...been reading abit and there's advantages and disadvantages to it...hmmm...just a lil troublesome to pour 2t after every patrol station visit..another thing is tht is there any way or a device of some sort tht we can read e patrol balance? Like a meter or something instead of wht I understand e orange light with turn on when patrol is low...

You can always reset your trip meter every petrol top up.. I guess that's the cheapest way (well it's free) to read the petrol balance and also accurately measure your fuel consumption.

Dats what I usually do too.. I guess lots of these type of sportbike doesn't have the fuel gauge. As for me I usually have my FC 25km/l. If topup at jb, just changed S$10 would almost get me full tank readi. Once I reset my trip meter after every topup, I would always watchout for my trip meter turns 225(9 litres). Dats when I know when to topup cause my reserve tank is still enuf for me to take a short trip to jb n topup.

what happened bro.... hmmm.... relax la... its only another 1 week to testing and 2 for race day..... lets practice hard and shred rubber instead of wasting time on people who cant walk the talk. Larry.... come on we all old bird... not some young punk..... i am more concentrated on my machine than some of the cheapo asking around for his vices in return of favor.....

 

lets look forward for the races bro.... lets enjoy the burnt rubber then some dumb-wit "smoking" his mouth away...

Guys, update on our Aprilia Repsol.. His family have inform me that his wide awake nw and is able to eat porridge though his still in ICU..
