aha! so u using the stock pads... im using EBC, 4 out of the 5 RS racing in SMSA race are using EBC.. yes i forgot to mention the stocks pads arent good, also the stock chains( ill give it a month before it starts slacking almost every time) and the stock suspension (it will eventually turn soggy)...

by the way as u brake, do u downshift as well?

ahh hot weather.. just back from JB... definitely not worth it to go JB for top-up petrol.. top-up V-power for 28 ringgit.. lets say $12... consider the travel distance and miles to and fro.. might as well nearest petrol station lol

I agree completely. Maybe I just prefer hanging out with friends privately and comfortably by the pool with a whiskey and cigar instead of riding for miles into a neighbouring high-risk country for a 'chill-out with buddies'.

yo bro.. how old is yer bike? just wanna know to see if u really need to change the pads yet..

cheers

less than 5 mths... btw i agree with your statement on the chain loose after few mths... Will it be alright if I just replace the chain w/o the socket as the socket seems still quite new.

Which is better? O-ring or X-ring? DID racing chain shows X-Ring is better?

Wow. That's a pretty new bike.

1) You bought brand new? Or if not,

2) Pre-owned but current ownership is less than 5 months?

the spocket is fine,no need change unless u want a different size, its the chains that needs a change, if u ask me, O ring is fine, unless u feeling loaded and want the racing X-ring which to me is a waste of money ... save the difference and get something else useful...i have an o ring chain, pretty new, its been thru 1 race only, im now trying out on a 415 chain...it feels pretty light while riding but dont think abt having a 415 chain, it wears out faster then u can say DID x-ring..

OMG OMG OMG OMG ZOMG!!!1!

Purely by accident, I discovered the probable cause for most valve breakage! What a fluke! I learnt something new today!!!

It's a design trait that is commonly overlooked by most mechanics... hahahaha.... 8 years on, and I've still got plenty to learn.

Today's DIY session was damn exciting. I think I must have a screw loose somewhere.
