for loans try to check with HL cycle or Personified.. they might help you along the way....why not go for the newer shape ones?

I've got a personal liking towards the roundish shape of the y2k rs.

Resembles the 125 and moto2 bikes. :D

Just feels that bikes nowadays are too sharp for my liking, too fierce haha.

Thought he owns a company that gives out loans or something.

I wouldn't want to borrow from personified, I don't know him and I feel shameful to owe someone money.

 

Anyway, Lawrence offered me his 03' RS. Just hope I pass my TP this Thursday!

Hey guys... I have a bugging prob and wish to hear unbiased opinions... I got my 2nd hand 09 RS125 from M** motor in end sept... Till date, the gearbox is still leaking oil even after countless visits to them and after 3 gasket changes... Is this a common prob of the RS125??? Should I go back to them and make sure they rectify the prob or just go elsewhere???

 

Also, where is Ah Seng located??? I took a ride down to kaki bukit but can never find 37 Motoring... Hope to hear some useful tips on my bike's prob and on the location of ah Seng...

i do not think this is a common problem.. you have to specific with regards to where this leak is from? if it is not from some area where there is a engine cover bolt or from the drain plug.. there might be a crack on the crankcase cover... and its not cheap to rectify....

but do take not that he is a bit on the expensive side. and well there are other good mechs around you may want to consider to....

Ah Seng is 1 bus stop away from CDC. It is beside the big canal and in the same building as the Ducati showroom.

Mah Motor or Mah Pte Ltd? Both are separate and different entities.

 

No bike should ever be leaking oil from anywhere at any time. Make sure the workshop, whichever it may be, rectifies the problem before they start accusing you as the culprit to engine damage. Don't be surprised that after a few times of replacing the gaskets for free (since it is under warranty) that they start blaming the damage on 'user error'.

 

Perpetual leaking is a clear sign that there is a bigger problem with your engine. Perhaps the engine casing is cracked, warped, or has leaking seals that need replacing. Either way, you've bought a lemon and you're looking at a substantial amount of repairs if the workshop does not fix it for you for free (under warranty).

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

Congrats!!! Do ride safely on the road.

 

Do not lane split Lane and tailgate. If raining heavily dun ride, take public transport.
